A bit worried about our midfield given how the three Ando, Scholes and Gibson have performed together in the past. Would also have preferred to see Berba paired with someone up top.
A lot will depend on Nani and Valencia, I reckon. If they can find space behind the Fulham defense, then Scholes and Berba should be a able to feed them plenty of balls.

Think Gibbo's been playing very well recently, him and Scholes should be able to dominate possession against these.
I always prefer to see Berbatov with a partner, hopefully Ando can turn it on.
I hope Berba don't get isolated, but if things don't worked out, we can always bring on Hernandez in the 2nd half....

The players are fresh, that's good...but i'm slightly nervous about this game though....fulham have done us in the past and sparky's teams always have a go...

I like the look of this team, glad we've played a three man midfield.
I was going to say this when I saw the team.If Valencia comes though this without overt struggle I'll be fairly fecking impressed at his match fitness given hes just returned.
Not sure about berbatov up top on his own. Would have preferred 4-4-2 but it's a fresh team and should have plenty of legs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Owen get a run out for the last 20 mins, and maybe some time against the Chavs. I can even see him starting against Shitty, his experience and goal scoring will be useful for next weekend and for the busy run in, so needs to get some minutes on the pitch.
