Manchester United vs. Fulham

So basically it's time to sell Rooney and use the money to buy someone of a similar class but of a more Roy Keane persuasion.

Knee jerk reactions 4 life from me!

Defence: will be fine once they aren't injured. If we get another I would like to see this Buttner fella given a few minutes

Midfield: Looks good, Ando doing a good job as the infamous Carrick backup

Attack: Looking good, Young a bit subdued and static but nothing I would overly worry about

Kagawa is the dog's bollocks and sme of our play has been sexual, but for about 95% of the game we just go wide and cross. I would like to see more one-twos and unlocking defences centrally as well.

Am I a spoilt brat? :D

They aren't slouches coming forward so I hope we go for the jugular in the second half. I can't remember a half I've enjoyed so much (after the first 2 and a half minutes anyway) for a long time. Utd had such a spring in their step and I really hope this inspires the Roon to regain his mojo and want to get in there amongst all the fun and games. The return of some swagger is great - maybe we should book Bolt as a permanent fixture in the stands!

That's his natural position, it's just that Rooney was very good there when we needed him to be. But yes, Kagawa is a real 10, very clever player.

In this game, just a bit worried that RvP seems to find it hard to get on the end of any balls for the moment.

EDIT : was replying to Summit's post.

We have looked great going forward without a doubt, especially down the right. Rafael and Valencia have a great connection. RVP and Kagawa have slotted into the side so nicely.

Rooney's first touch seems to consistently let him down in the last couple of seasons, which is surprising because I always viewed him as such a technical player. Given his tremendous work rate and relative unselfishness. I wouldn't mind seeing him given a run on the left hand side. Given that Young cuts back in ALL the time, it's not like we would lose width. And we know Rooney tracks back.

Think he could be deadly cutting in on his right. It would leave Kagawa and RVP in their best positions too.

Bloody brilliant half of football that. Started so badly but what a response.

Valencia, Kagawa and Rafael the real standouts for me, but so many of players switching it on that maybe it's unfair to be singling them out.

Good, seems like Fergie's had big balls today. Let's hope Rooney decides to be a little more....committed.

Every time they show Rooney on the bench it reminds me of the Casillero del Diablo ad. That's the face he should have pulled in it

Streams pissed me off towards the end of that half. I better not miss any more important moments.

I hope we've learned our lessons of last season. Don't sit back and expect to maintain the lead. We've gotta sort out goal difference out from the start.
