Manchester United vs. Hull City

Hull are giving us all sorts of space here, we really should score a few more.

What a fecking bunch of cnuts here pointing at Owen when he has played wonderfully apart from some missed finish. And that last one was deflected by the defender.

Owen really is shite these days.

His overall play has been quite good I think.

Rafael despite his short height wins a fairly impressive amount of headers

But he hasnt. He's been decent with God awful finishing.

Don't get me wrong

Owen should still have scored that, but the defender definitely slid and deflected the ball into Myhill, Myhill might have saved it anyway, but it was going much closer to the post without the defenders intervention

It wasn't a great shot, but it was very good defending

Some dickheads on here bashing Owen.

United are playing some brilliant football, and the Owen-Rooney partnership looks alot more dangerous than the one with Berbatov at the moment.

Get to Specsavers

1-0 is not fair reflection of the match, should have been more...

Rooney and Owen are playing very well together

Agreed.
Good peformance in the first half overall. Evans looks a bit shaky at times and Owen should have scored, but apart from that a really good perfomance from everyone I thought.

Good performance so far. Give Scholes space and he will kill you.

Agreed, but it's Hull, don't forget

Need to bury some chances - maybe The One can put ESP his finishing powers to someone on the field ...

Better from United - at least we scored in the first half.

Edit: Nice to see Nani being effective - him and Valencia as wingers with Giggs being a attacking/dribbling midfielder would make for a very potent attack (with 2 strikers up front)

HT. 1-0

This game should be out of sight. We have dominated possession and created plenty of chances. We just cant finish them off right now. Our play in general looks very confident, composed and fluid in midfield and attack. I dont think there has been enough penetration from the left wing but other that that there is not much to complain about.

In the 2nd half we want more of the same but with a clinical mentality in attack. We surely cannot let the 3 points slip away.

Nani is taking his chances today.

Apart from poor corners he hs been very good.

Hope he settles down in the team well cause he is a really talented player.

But he hasnt. He's been decent with God awful finishing.

No he has been as good as Nani linking up well with Rooney and making some great runs. His finishing is expected to be a little bit off considering he has not played a lot and let's be honest here, Wayne would have probably missed that too.

Well, we could and probably should have scored atleast a couple more than we have but overall we've played well.

Rooney and Owen are linking up well, the passing is fancy, crisp and making us chances. Owen and Rooney both should have scored a couple, as it is they haven't but the goals wil come. Owen's overall play has been good as well, he's tracking back and passing smoothly.

Nani has had a couple of good moments, including his usual one spastic shot per match, his corners and crossing have for the whole been very good though.

Rooney was reckless in the challenge on Hunt, but fair play he realised this and didn't respond to Hunt's response, so that's a good sign of his maturity kicking in after he's had his little frustrated moment.

Great chanting from the stretford end.

LUHG.

Ugh, that official Premiership theme music is really boring and amateur sounding.

Glad to see improvement from Nani. He slows up the play too much from the left but is much more effective on the right. He and Valencia are good options on that flank.
