Manchester United vs. Hull City

Well, we could and probably should have scored atleast a couple more than we have but overall we've played well.

Rooney and Owen are linking up well, the passing is fancy, crisp and making us chances. Owen and Rooney both should have scored a couple, as it is they haven't but the goals wil come. Owen's overall play has been good as well, he's tracking back and passing smoothly.

Nani has had a couple of good moments, including his usual one spastic shot per match, his corners and crossing have for the whole been very good though.

Rooney was reckless in the challenge on Hunt, but fair play he realised this and didn't respond to Hunt's response, so that's a good sign of his maturity kicking in after he's had his little frustrated moment.

Great chanting from the stretford end.

LUHG.

Sums up the first half perfect

Nani is starting to show that real quality we saw in his first season. Hopefully he keeps it up this time!

Owen has done very well apart from his finishing

Exactly, Rooney has had a few games like that recently and hasn't been given half as much shit as Owen is getting.

True.

Standard redcafe bollox, I'm afraid.

So many cnuts on here with the knives out for certain players, desperate to jump all over them if they do anything wrong.

Owen's had a decent game IMO. Looks sharp. I fancy him to score.

Rafael has seemed to set to mind to just defending as good as he can, holding him back from bombing on.

Can't blame him really. Probably got an awful bollocking from SAF after the City game.

He's playing well though. If we can get a bit of a lead I'm sure he'll get forwards a lot more.

I prefer more than one orgasm in my sex. So hopefully there's a few more goals.

You always need some time between your goals though so keep working hard, giving it right to your opponent as fast and hard as possible and the result will cum.

He actually got forward on more than one occassion

Very happy so far.

Nani has looked extremely good and has put in a number of early crosses that are causing Hull problems at the back.

Owen coulda/shoulda scored, but his movement has been very good - and having another player upfront has certainly helped Rooney.

Also, Rooney's touch seems a lot better than in previous games - less stray passes, better first touch control.

Very good to see Rio back. Vidic may have had the better season last year, but Rio, on form, is the best defender in the world...except for that Evra fellow.

Hoping we get an early goal and then keep the pressure up. There are goals for the taking if we remain focused and hopefully we can start to build some momentum in this game for our coming fixtures.

This is the best we've looked since the derby, I know it's Hull but judging from the last half an hour against City I reckon we may have really hit some form.

Am I the only one who saw the Hull defender half block the shot and deflect it straight into Myhill?

Isn't finishing supposed to be the whole point of michael owen?

you need games to get sharpness and goals to help confidence. If your in and out, it's very hard for most players to do the things they should be good at

I just want to say if Berbatov would have missed something like that even with his link up play being brilliant like it normally is would have got slated just like like Owen

Owen's miss was in a similar play where Diouff scored the first against Sunderland reserves in the week with a lovely chip.

I think it looked worse than it was because the defender (Dawson?) got a great block in, took all the pace off the ball and deflected it towards Myhill. If he hadn't, it was probably rolling into the far corner.

Should have scored but wasn't a terrible miss. The grief he's getting on here is a typical example of people being influenced by a commentator.

Harsh on Owen many on here. Course he should have buried that but he was big part of that lovely build up. Anayway I love his movement up front
Very encouraging indeed. His finishing is suspect but his build up play has been very good.

When do the nominations begin for PFA Player of the Year? If Rooney can keep up his form/goals into February he's got to be favourite.
He's been infuriatingly inconsistent though. I'd rather Evra got it than Rooney.

Come on shake that ass for me! Come on shake that ass for me!!!

What is this fecking shite playing on my stream?
