What a game, bloody hell, it was we try to score you try, not for the purists this game . It could have been much much more in score, blistering start and just carried on. Martial must be kicking himself easily had 2.
Mctom hope hes fit for boxing day, best game hes had, and we all doubted James inclusion that was a mistake from us all, ideal game for him. Motd will need full hour to analyse this one . Well done lads .

Such a weird game, don't think I've ever felt nervous when 3 goals up at half time! There could've quite easily been another few goals in that game for either side too. Great result though, hopefully we can build on that in these next few weeks.

What an evening. First I get to watch a Mourinho team having to try to do a 180 degree attitude turn because they must chase an equaliser, and fail. Then this.

An awesome display of what we can now do to a team that plays with high risk. This is why Chelsea and City comes to OT and play a careful style with an emphasis on defence. Don't know that I've seen a better display of speed, skill, initiative and creativity from anyone this season. As many have said, we could have had 10 or 12, and still our efficiency was very good indeed - 6 goals from 24 shots. Also, we're starting to see some really interesting patterns in the attack - particularly simultaneous movements in different directions, which was also on display against SHU. And look at what Daniel James does on McTominay's first goal - how he draws off the defender, which is what opens up McTominays shooting lane.

Defensively, still a little rough around the edges perhaps. Today's special seemed to be short clearances into high-risk areas. Still, who can complain after a performance like this.

And now suddenly all the talk is about whether there's a title challenge. We now project at 76 points - 10 more than last season. Which is roughly where we should be. As for inconsistency, check out how many other teams have had a 7-game unbeaten streak in the PL this season.

Mine aged fine. It's a general statement that remains true.

McTominay was perfection today not even counting his goals.

However he often puts in average performances where his passing leaves a lot to be desired and is praised as expectations for him are low in comparison to some other players.

We've become fun to watch again, can't really ask for much more. Winning streaks, comebacks etc. Were beginning to feel like United of old, and the confidence building in the players, the change in mentality is almost palpable.

Beautiful game today. Many of our players had a good game, but McT was sublime. Looks like he discovered Super Saiyan form today.

I hope this game is a shift in our home form. Onwards and upwards.
