Manchester United vs Liverpoo

I'll eat my hat if we don't win this game, Liverpool are awful

What are you doing in Seoul?

Missing the match of the season by look of it.

Here on business, although if I stay up to watch the Arse get stuffed it will be 2am and I won't feel much like work in the morning.

Took time to get into the pace, gave a few balls away early on, but now has grown in stature and has started to control the passing on the middle. Good stuff from the lad!
Beautiful ball thur for Rooney from Carrick and some godd pass and movement. Rooney looks a little lost at the mo but Fletch is kicking everything around him Great stuff

Great work rate by Fletcher so far - made a couple of risky misplaced passes but apart from that he's played well.

Carrick's been alright - not as bad as some people are making him out to be. He's made one wrong pass too many, but on the positive side, he's also made some good forward passes and orchestrated some good moves. He's also been pretty busy keeping the Pool midfield at bay.

Fletcher's playing a great game. The defense is playing a tight game but LFC have an awful offense.

This is just brilliant playing welll and leading. They are gonna have to make change up front, if there is a fault its that we have been out numbered in midfield sometimes so they will now go 442 now which will help scholoes and carrick. We also can get them on the counter attack If ronaldo comes on next half it will be even better.

Carrick isn't bad either to be honest.

I think this is one time Rooney needs to seriously chill. Not that I'd normally mind, but he does seem more intent on kicking scum than the ball. Some lovely flashes of skill though, lets hope Ferguson grabs him by the scruff and tells him to get in the middle more!

HT 1-0
United have been the better team but still giving Liverpool some chances.
Fletcher has done really well. He's put in some great tackles.
Carrick has been OK. He's misplaced some passes but he played Rooney in with a great ball as well and has tracked back well.
Rooney has looked a little off the pace put Saha looks sharp.

Saha as come back,Scholes as been great and even carrick as made one or two telling passes.Bit slow at the beginning but outplayed the dippers most of the half.

Fletch's passing, tracking back, tackling has been top drawer.

I'm in love with him.

xxxx

I don't see what people on here see in Fletcher. Yes he tries. But, when does he ever create anything of note? He is also frustratingly slow and tends to run about a lot like a headless chicken. I do want to see him do well. I just can;t see it.

Spot on.

True.

Delighted with Fletch, this could really be the turning point for him, he has been class all season but if he keeps this up it'll be difficult for even the biggest mongo's to get on his back and say he couldn't possibly develop into a useful player, provong himself against a midfield of Pools calibre

That was a great pass by Carrick. Pity Rooney couldn't bring it down. We are all over them. Notice how Gerrard has made quite a few sloppy passes, yet the commentator never picks up on it.

Fletcher has been maybe our best player in the first half. Never gives up. He has been pressing for the ball every time and made some great challenges. Also impressed with some of his passing play today. Carrick has just done what he's done in every game for us so far and that is next to nothing. He plays a few passes about but thats it really and half of them were misplaced.

u obviously arent watching the match then.

hes been doing everything right, hes been battling alot ala scott parker.

If both Fletcher and Carrick take this game, build on it and then go on a solid run of performance, they may just get some respect. Especially fletch, although the problem with him is like Smithy against Liverpool, it's all well and good putting it about in the big games, but also playing in the fluid united way in games where solid tackling won't disrupt the other team as much (like bolton for example), can he do it? Lets hope they both go forward from this.

Saha with both feet is insaneness

Scholes you fuking sweetheart

Giggs like always

Don't we have some kid named after Christ warming the bench? Is he any good? Maybe we'll try him out next year.

Vidic taking on Kuyt, Legend. True Cap already at this point.

Oh and there's some guy named Wayne runnin' around

I love how they try to attack Evra and either Ferdinand comes out or we counter on the right or both. Heinze would be nice. Hargreaves who? The Gerrard-Kuyt long ball still worries me, but hopefuly Vidic can mark him. SCHOOOOOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Thought Saha has looked really sharp and has made the most of the posession he has got.

Fletcher is looking more than determined and has done well in chasing balls down - both in defense and attack.
