According to physioroom Aurelio could be back for the Portsmouth game tomorrow, could be ready for this game too.
I'd suspect:
-------------Reina-------------
Johnson-Agger-Carragher-Aurelio
-------Mascherano-Lucas-------
--Kuyt------Gerrard---Benayoun
------------Torres--------------
Subs: Cavalieri, Insua, Kyrgiakos, Aqualini, Babel, Maxi/Reira, N'gog
Ah well, Valencia v Not 100% Aurelio makes me![]()
I'm going over for this match, and all I can say is we better fecking beat them. I'm sick of those cnuts and their flukey wins (okay yes, we were shite in those matches, but still when 2/3 of their goals come from our own errors and hoof football, it kinda makes you sick).
I'd be tempted to put Berba on the bench and play Rooney up front, being flanked by both Valencia & Nani, with Park being able to roam.
We know they play twice before the match next week (tomorrow night then Thursday night), but form goes right out the window in a match like this. They've raised their game against us in recent times and I expect the same next Sunday, no matter how shite they've been lately.
I'll go 3-1 to us.
I think it's more than likely to be Valencia v Aurelio and Insua as it was at Anfield.
4-3-3 and Scholes & Park to play, please.
Man Utd 3. Liverpool 2.
Rooney 90+3
Rooney 90+7 (Deflection of the ref)
Rooney 90+10 (dodgy penalty)
Just to send RAWK into mass meltdown/suicidal mode.
I'm going to make a controversal statement, Liverpool are actually better than that Milan side.

I dont think that Milan will lose or draw so many games in english league like Liverpool![]()
If United do play the formation they played against Milan, I'd suspect Liverpool to fair a lot better against it.
a) The two defensive midfielders will essentially make Park's life a lot more hell than Pirlo and that useless Ambrosini guy could. Why Gattuso played in neither game amazes me somewhat.
b) Kuyt, Bennyoun, Gerrard and even Nando do a lot more defensive work than Seedorf, Ronaldinho, Huntellaar and Borriello.
c) Say what you want about Liverpool's back five, player for player they're better than the Milan back five at Old Trafford.
d) Torres even half fit is miles more clinical than Huntellaar.
Treating Liverpool like AC Milan, plays into Liverpool's hands and maybe engineering the side to suit Liverpool somewhat.
You say that but in our two most recent games against them, we've played 4-4-2 and lost both. We lost convincingly on both occasions because they beasted our two man midfield on both occasions.
And if United play 4-5-1 Liverpool would capitulate to a 4-0 drobbing the way Milan did?
Somehow I don't think so.
Milan let United impose their game on them, Liverpool won't and will make it very difficult.
United will need a cautious patient team, not one that plays open gungho football. Remember that Liverpool "beasted" not just Carrick and Anderson but Park, Tevez, Ronaldo and Rooney at Old Trafford last time, so just planning to run at them with no methodicalness isn't going to work.
Did we have Fletch in the last few matches?
No, that is another factor in them having the Indian sign over us recently aswell as us playing into their hands with 4-4-2.
I never said that, you are taking a comment way out of context.
I meant that we've played into their hands with 4-4-2 in the recent past, but have done well on many an occasion with 4-3-3.
So basically 4-3-3 and a midfield capable of dominating play is what we should and IMO will go with.
Did we have Fletch in the last few matches?
No. We haven't had a full strength midfield against them in ages.
Liverpool are good when they play like a small team. They are a £150m version of Stoke. We shouldn't underestimate them.

Their first XI looks pretty good on paper, but for some reason they have played terribly for a while....you just know they'll step up their game x1000 against us though
Well they've lost one first teamer in Skertl so to speak and Aurelio might be lacking match fitness, I do wonder if instead of Insua they'd opt for Kyrgiakos in defence alongside Agger and stick Carragher at leftback?

No, they'll play Insua at LB.
Insua or Carragher dealing with Valencia![]()
