Manchester United vs. Liverpool

That front six looks fecking excellent, even without Nani, Valencia and of course Rooney. Should have good balance as well, work rate and plenty of exciting passing moves. Now come on United, I'm shitting it here!

Shame Nani couldn't make the bench either...would have been ideal to bring on if we were struggling.

I'm happy with that side, be interesting to see if Anderson has made the bench. I'd expect Welbeck from the left and Young from the right.

Should be able to win this, our team is so much stronger on paper.

-------------De Gea
Rafael---Vidic---Ferdinand----Evra
----------Carrick-Cleverely
---------------Kagawa
Welbeck------------------------Young
------------------RVP

I can see us playing like this

Valencia on the bench is interesting. I don't think Fergie would drop him for Welbeck - for a game of this importance - unless there was some sort of injury.

Evans is our best CB and him being out is a huge huge blow. Slightly worried about Rio and Vidic against a pacey liverpool attack.

Hope Vidic doesn't get sucked into tacking Suarez, he is reckless at times, just don't get sent off is all I say. Rio deals with him best.

Welbeck-Kagawa-Young

There's potential for a very interchangeable and fluid attack in behind RVP there.

I want to see Cleverley take his defensive responsibilities particularly seriously today, let's try and maintain a hold on that midfield.

Or he's been shit in the last couple of games?

Evans is a big miss for me, Vidic and Rio haven't played together for a while and both have undeniably lost some pace and play deeper now, and against someone like Suarez that isn't ideal.

Still rest of the team looks good, valencia/nani must not have been fit so welbeck is a good fit of someone who will work hard and can attack well even if not as a traditional winger, will expect him, kagawa and rvp to interchange a fair bit.

I don't think Kagawa has started a game on the wing for us just yet so I think he'll be in the middle with Welbeck on the wing.

'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' is the first song to be played at Old Trafford this afternoon. #LFC #MUFC

:)

Rio instead of Evans
Kagawa instead of Valencia
Allen instead of Henderson

In my predicitons.

I'd think Welbeck on the left, Young on the right, Kagawa between the midfield and RVP would be more likely.

Shame there's no Nani or Rooney on the bench; and that Lindegaard and Evans appear to be injured.

Big, big test for Vidic's fitness.

Can't believe people really are disappointed that Nani doesn't start a game against Liverpool after his two-month injury.

West Ham is much better game for him + we have players to start today.

Is Scholes injured, or just not selected?

I suppose he is less likely to give the ball away than Hernandez. Also as it's a derby and he was born locally he may raise his game.

Liverpool struggle when pressed, and there's no better forward for that.

Thought he would make the bench today. He will probably start along with Rooney on wednesday.
