Every game against that lot is a must win.
Unfortunately can't watch because I will be traveling that evening. Hope some of our "neglected" players get some game time though.
I understand that, but the Carling Cup is used has a run out for the kids, but I do want us to win.

Agree with that but the likes of Nani, Kagawa and Hernandez need game time, hopefully Zaha and Adnan can come off the bench.
Also the fact that Liverpool will play pretty much a full strength team.
Chance for Evans, Nani, Kagawa and Hernandez to play themselves into the first team. All they have to do is not play horribly.

We've been hammered by City and need to respond, another defeat will only raise concerns.
We can't lose to them twice already so early in the season.
The worst thing that could happen is the likes of Nani/Kagawa/Hernandez don't have very good games due to not playing a lot of football and Moyes sticks with Young and Valencia.
No they shouldn't. Some of them have had their chances. I'd go with something like this. A fresher team with players who have a point to prove.

Rooney has to play, he needs games and is getting sharper each time
I agree with your team, apart from DDG, I would keep in in there.
I think a solid team starts with playing your keeper unless injured, he can pay 3 games in a week with ease.
All the lads who have played continuously should be rested. So no Carrick, Vidic, Evra, Valencia or Rio. No point having a big massive squad full of quality if you don't use it.
I'd like to see Evans, Rafael, Fabio, Anderson, Zaha, Kagawa, Nani, Chicharito and maybe Januzaj playing a part.

No the worst thing that could happen is playing our "strongest" side which will put a performance like today's and get beat by the scouse second string. The Legue Cup is for experimentation, and Moyes definitely is in need of some.
