If there was anything to look forward to from Fergie's retirement, it was the excitement of a manager who thinks a bit differently, has a different outlook etc. but what we're being served up is exactly what the whole forum has been complaining about for the last 2 years.
Almost as if he's picking from the same players isn't it.

Just back from the game the spastics set loads of when they were one down, way to go. Twats throwing lit ones down into lower east as well.

You could hear it, even on TV it sounded amazing, loved Giggs calling for more noise!
What about the atmosphere in general? Sounded quite good on telly.
All through the game we were bang on it tonight mate. Passion from Giggsy with his Fergie rally and Moysey giving the ears to the scouse after getting some shit off them earlier in the game. The scouse got the message that we are behind our new manager tonight. Loud and fecking clear.
Has anyone said anything about refereing tonight?
Clattenburg had a really good game, but both linesmans were awfull IMO, Liverpool's best chances came from two offsides(and even that third chance when they finally decided to give offside, it should have never happen in first place, because it was probably offside earlier in build up), and they also got two corners that never were.
Not really complaining, overall it was very good performance from Clattenburg, but lineos were really awfull.

Clattenburg was much better than Marriner in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, which wasn't too difficult to be fair. Still gave them most of the 50-50s and didn't book Skrtel for his nasty tackle on Nani in the first half. I'd say he was decent.
Probably my personal highlight of the season so far. Was a special moment.
