Liverpool FC (nicknamed The Reds) are an English professional football club based in Liverpool, England. Liverpool were originally founded in 1892 as "Everton F.C. and Athletic Grounds Ltd" (Everton Athletic for short), before finalizing on the name Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Ltd after a dispute between the Everton FC board and John Houlding, the owner of Everton's former premise at Anfield Road. Liverpool's forays into competitive football started when they joined the Lancashire League. After winning the league title in their first season, Liverpool were accepted into the Football League for the 1893-94 season, following the resignations of Accrington and Bootle.

One of the most successful and storied clubs in the history of European football, Liverpool have won 18 English league titles, 6 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, and 8 League Cups, peaking in the 1970s and 1980s, first under the enigmatic Bill Shankly, and then his 'Boot Room' successors. Although Liverpool's fortunes as a domestic and European force have dwindled in the past 25 seasons, they still have a massive global support-base. Liverpool have two fierce historic rivals - crosstown club Everton FC (matches between them are termed The Merseyside Derby), and Manchester United.

    Big ol’ bath of blood.

This is most likely going to be our lowest point since SAF retired.

    We won't lose this.

We'll have Pogba, Martial, AWB, Lindelof and Shaw back.

Those are 5 starters for us.

We will also have back up in Lingard.

We're decent enough defensively on the whole, and we should have some players back. Think we'll be able to keep it tight and it'll be a low scoring affair. Could be a 1-0 win either way or a draw most likely which Liverpool will be ok with probably.
    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Pogba
    James Lingard Rashford
    Martial

Our strongest 11 IMO and I'm hopeful they'll all be fit.

Guys be careful. I left my 2 Liverpool tickets on the dashboard. Someone broke into my car and now I have 6 tickets for the game.

Despite our winning run and your current issues, I’m still not confident. This is always a struggle. I think I’ve seen Liverpool win five times at Old Trafford since I started watching football 20 years ago.

We are due one but we’ll see how the international break goes for both clubs. Might be the break United need.

Absolutely so delighted that I’ve got a cousins 21st birthday party to attend that day, even though he’s been 21 for two months now. Could not have timed it any better!

This is going to be a cricket score.

Liverpool to lose on purpose so we can keep Ole. Joke aside, we will be playing to our strength, so it won’t be all doom and gloom before this match. Also  at 4-0 United win predictions. We did it once with Chelsea, so it is possible.

It'll be the last game I watch. Will be live at least.
And my Liverpool supporting friend will probably have good memories from it.

I think it will be 1-4 or 1-5 to Liverpool, if Ole is not sacked today

Maybe we could just agree to take a default 0-3 loss and save everyone some time?

I think it will be 1-4 or 1-5 to Liverpool, if Ole is not sacked today

Will the guy who replaces him be allowed to bring in 7-8 quality players as well? Because if not, I don't see the likes of Young, Fred, Mata and Lingard suddenly turning into world beaters.

    0-5
    Mane (Pen) 8’
    Henderson 22’
    Firmino 56’
    Mane (Pen) 60’
    Mane 84’

To be fair we'll probably have half our starting line up back(Pogba, Shaw, Martial, Lindelolf, Wan Bissaka). Though some will most likely be a bit rusty.

    ------------------DDG
    ---Lindelöf-Tuanzebe-Maguire
    AWB-Garner-McTominay-James
    ---------------Pogba
    ----Greenwood---Martial

Romero, don't care, Williams/Shaw, don't care, Gomes, don't care, Rashford but don't put him on

I'm more worried about the two away fixtures that follow the Liverpool game. My only concern about this game is the final scoreline.

This game has the same aura as the games against City and Liverpool under Moyes surrounding it. An aura of inevitability that is.

And please can we drop this Lucky McLuckerson thing? It was fun but i believe it has served its purpose.

    433. Play Fred in midfield if you must but push Pogba further forward on the Left midfield inside. This did work wonders during our bounce back run.

Normally I'd at least have the option to sell my tickets for exhorbitant amounts, not sure I'd be able to give them away for this one, not to a United fan at least.

    It was?

Ole's best chance is to park the bus and focus on hitting on the break. If we can get a 0-0 scoreline, that'll be a good day's work for us.
Play 5 at the back, with 2 holding midfielders.
If LFC commit lots of players forward, then they'll be vulnerable to a counter attack.
But, if LFC score 1 goal, we're screwed!

Those guys played against some of the minnows we have lost/drawn to.
Our first teamers had one good game (against Chelsea), but against teams like CP and Wolves, those first teamers were terrible.
