Rio didn't help but Foster had every opportunity to clear the danger and then shout at Rio afterwards. That's what I want from my goalie, not hapless indecision followed by conceeding another soft goal.
Judging by Rio's body language I'd say Foster gave him a call
VDS would have been yelling to Rio to kick the ball away since he would have saw Tevez barging in. Foster doesn't have that command or vision yet, and may never.

True, but his positioning on Arshavin's goal was suspect. I've no doubt in my mind VDS would have stopped that shot. Longer reach, better positioning.
I love how people were saying that our defence would have Tevez in there pocket for the match, twice he has got through! They really need to get there act together!
Sorry, but I dont think he is the future, the stuff about him deserving a place after VdS gets back. He isnt bad by any means, and yeah fair enough he isnt a joke he is actually quite talented, that said he isnt there and I doubt he gets to a level that United want.
