I can't believe what Foster did. Three big games this season and he's fecked up in all three. Ruined the early momentum we had.

HT. 1-1. Great start ruined by one moment of indecisiveness. Since then we have allowed them to get back into the game and cause us trouble. Must do better in the second half and reassert our authority on the game. More threat from the wings might turn the tide back in our favour.

Fosters mistake has knocked the stuffing out if the team. It's a howler that could really feck up his chances of being United #1, and it could really feck up our league campaign if City go on to win this.

Fletcher and Anderson are doing fine. Giggs and Park are not in the game. Berbatov is non existent. They are the real reasons for the inept performance thus far.

That's not it IMO. They have almost zero support. Giggs is up against Micah Richards and to be honest is not an attacking midfielder anymore, he's good from central midfield. And on the right we have Park who is hardly an attacker. So we have four central midfielders in midfield that's very very static and hard working with little creativity. We're just hoping Rooney does something special.

Anderson was doing well up until the yellow which has neutralised him now. Yes, he tries a few risky through balls but we need that if we're going to break City down. With him on a yellow, it may be wise to bring on Carrick though. Think we need more penetration from the wings as well. Nani or Valencia for Park. City are able to force us to play centrally and we're not creating much.

Its something we did all last season in big matches too. Go a goal up, then let the opposing team into the match. Mistake by Foster, great work by Tevez though it was, I can only think Foster's view was obstructed by Rio and he didnt see him till late. He should obviously just have kicked it even if it was straight out for a throw in. Hindsight and all that.

I dont disagree with you about needing somebody to make the passes , but we also need somebody that can grab the game by its neck and steady the team when needed.For me thats what was missing after they scored.
We have been shit. I still believe Foster can make it, but he was always prone to such mistakes, he needs maturing and fast. Park once again is double shit, he's just running around like a retard.

Giggs and Berbatov are there to be creative but are absolutely non existent.
Anderson is on a yellow, riled up and missing far to many of his passes. Carrick on for him please. Park after a bright start has just dissappeared, so Nani or Valencia on for him to as i think Bridge has a mistake in him and we haven't threatened too much with pace down the wings. The one time we did from the throw in we got the goal.

Anderson needs to stop his Hollywood passes. Giggs needs to keep up with the pace of the game better. Berbatov needs to get himself in the game. Where's Fletcher's physical prowess? Anderson is doing more tackling and finally Park needs to stop playing so defensively. It's almost a 4-3-3 formation to be honest...

He had a chance to clear it from just outside the box, decided to try and dribble it back into the box to pick it up, Tevez took the ball off him and passed it to Barry for a virtual open goal.
Maybe im watching a different game but i dont think our midfield is to blame, agreed its more workman like rather than creative but they've stuck in well and done well. It was only after the goal that it seemed we were getting overrun a lot more but i think a lot is down to us pushing to many men forward.
As for Foster i've always defended him but my word his decision making is poor, even at the start of the game when you saw he was a little hesitant to clear that ball that Tevez charged down i could tell something like that would cost us and unfortunately i was correct. Personally i would like to see Nani/Valencia on for Park because he looks out of depth in the final third which is really frustrating, Andersons been ok but hes tried that difficult ball to much for my liking (i mean if they would get to their target then fair play but its not!)

it's upto the midfield to create. Berba and Rooney have actually linked up well. But anyway, our mistake has totally deflated us. Still think we'll be too strong from them second half, though.
