Manchester United Vs Manchester City.

Really City now bigger than United because of today? feck off Jamie.

Losing is one thing, but to be humiliated at OT is unacceptable. Why didn't we just defend the last 10 mins?

Disgraceful. Was a lost game when Hernandez came on for Nani. Midfield hadn't created feck all with 11 men, how were they going to do any better 1 man less? Really killed us and left huge gaps in the defense. Easiest thing in the world for a squad of City's caliber.

FT. Just humiliated, at home of all places...

I fear for the safety of the players in that dressing room. They deserve to get torn to shreds but it's safe to say the sending off made that defeat 5 times worse.

It remains to be seen how we get back from this ... this complete, public, ass raping.

I would drop Rio for sure, purely for his attitude there. We were only three down at that moment for fecks sake.

That was well deserved for City, they didn't put a foot wrong or get fortunate decisions all match.

I've gone past the point of anger. I think there is a good chance of me hitting someone hard with a baseball bat

Well, I know it's hard to try and get perspective; but it wasn't our day in any sense, including the fact that the tone was set by City scoring with pretty much their first passage of play. I won't place all the blame at the feet of Johnny Evans, but he needs a careful examination indeed, but most important our midfield, or complete lack of.

It was as if every bounce out there fell to them, there were times they went through us even though we had two or three players tackle them, but still the ball just fell for them. I'm not saying it was lucky, but it was fecking uncanny at times and certainly wasn't down to messi-esque technique from the likes of Milner.

It's one of those games we'll hear about a lot though, but at the end of the day, they're still a worthless load of shite, whom have been gifted this team through one rich man.

Baffling. Admit defeat when you see one. Don't be strawing salt in your wounds willingly.

Too many players switched off. fecking shocking.

I'd rather write this season off already and build a consistent team for the next few years than put up with "experienced" players who drop their heads like that.

I bet the Glazers don't refund tickets after this shower of shite like Arsenal did.

Disgraceful but credit to City - they have taught us a lesson regardless of where you stand on how they built the squad....they have battered us. End of.

Well Arsenal only refunded how many tickets? Something like two or three thousand. But you really expect management to refund 70000 tickets?

I didn't really think City would win the league before today, but now they have a very reasonable chance of doing so.

We're United, and obviously we'll respond to this. But this is one of the most painful matches I've ever watched. At home as well, I'm honestly in a state of shock. The way we gave up in that last 5 minutes was so uncharacteristic, I felt very sorry for DDG just being abandoned by the defense.

Some feckers are not meant to start threads. I have been on this board a very long time and I have never once seen a thread started like Spoony. Disgraceful performance Spoony.

The only positives I can take from this defeat is that it was 1-0 when Evans got sent off. We had loads of opportunities to shoot when it was 1-0 in the first half in and around the box and had we done so we might have got goals cf. Fletcher's goal. Some players like Rooney never seemed to stop trying. And...nothing else.

the disappointing thing was the lacksture defending throughout the game.

started with the city's first goal, then evans, and then rio..

fergei, please do something now..

City are miles ahead of us in midfield. Actually, they're ahead of us in every department but midfield is the widest gap. Terrible performance and City thoroughly deserved that scoreline.

Our fans were fecking shit today too. Pathetic.

for the first time in my life as a United-supporter I am gonna say this.

Ferguson - you and your team are a disgrace !

We were very poor, of course, but this game reminded me of Liverpool's 4-1 win - a smash n' grab. In this case, us being reduced to ten men was an absolute godsend for City.

I think smash and grab gives us too much credit SteveJ, we had good possession in the first half, but did not have the quality to turn it into chances.

Once we went down to ten men, we did not have the organisation to even prevent a hammering, finally ran out of luck today im afraid!

Who cares about the numbers?? We DOMINATED the first 30mins and should have made it count.. With Berbatov we would had won the game. period.

Rio Ferdinand redefined the term embarrassing today. What one Earth was he up to at the end? Don't want to see him play the next game and I'm sure he won't.

Rooney and Welbeck were the only ones who looked like they cared.

That was well deserved for City, they didn't put a foot wrong or get fortunate decisions all match.

That pass by Ferdinand out for a corner was a pretty fortunate one.

And nitpicking, when Dzeko stomped Jones, got the free kick and waved an imaginary card. That was a pretty fortunate one. Didn't know what the linesman was doing there, not that it matters anyway.
