i dont know how much i can judge listening to alan green. However its sounding as if its not just a case of confidence, its also a case of motivation.

The lads have been poor, very poor tonight. they should have been doing what they have been at in the last 10 minutes about 60 an hour ago. I dont think ruud is the only one with his thoughts elsewhere, i think others are wary of what happened to Rooney on Saturday and missing the world cup. Others seem to be thinking that second is assured and are too busy booking their summer holiday.

The paying public and certainly the old trafford regulars are owed slightly more than that.
