It was not poor, it was the right thing to do, our players should anticipate that. The first thing you are thought in football is to go the center circle as an attacker or defender, whoever gets there first changes the game.
We need strikers who have this tendency naturally, SAF is trying to teach Rooney this, but it is like teaching an old dog a new trick

Really good first half after we got going. Valencia seems a bit off the mark today, would like to see him have a bit more success down the flank. I hope something falls for Rooney as he hasn't had much luck so far. Berba playing fantastic today, running the length of the field attacking and has even helped out in a couple of defensive situations.
No chance. He's played well. Rooney will get another 10, possibly 15, and then he'll be the one coming off. He's looked well short.
I hope we see Giggs on for Nani or Valencia, Hernandez on for Rooney
