It was a poor ball because he did not look up. Surely the first thing you are taught in football is to LOOK UP! What has the centre circle got to do with anything?
Really good first half performance that. A bit wasteful at times, and we started giving the ball away a bit much after the first goal, but composed ourselves again and look very strong. More of the same for the second half would be great.
Scholes and Berbatov with good first halves. Rooney till the hour then its Chicharito time.
Scholes, Fletch have been very good, running the show. Really pleased for Berba too.
Valencia not really in the game and Nani has had so much of the ball yet incredibly infuriating, but its worth it when he can put Evra in like that.
As for Wazza, its going to take a while before we see the best of him.. he's going through those infamous patches.

Not a bad half at all. Dominated possesion, had some good chances and two decent goals. One of which was Berbasex!
Precisley the point lads, rooneyis short of match fitness and needs minutes. Berbatov obviously is match fit and has got a goal which has done him a world of good no doubt. Hernandez should come on so we can see his partnership with rooney, and because he'll most likely score if given the chance.

Rooney needs to stop acting like a cnut towards Nani. I find it quite irritating, particularly when he's playing shite himself.

It wasnt poor because he had every right to expect someone to be holding back as there were like 3 United shirts in the box. They clustered instead which was a bad idea. It could have been better if he looked up - but there still wouldnt have been anybody there for the free goal.

He'll take confidence from getting another goal and putting in a good shift so far. Rooney looks a little rusty still, which is to be expected.
