As I said it wasn't their fault but playing them together from the start in any game is asking for a bad performance pretty much. Obviously Carrick/de gea/ Hernandez were at fault for the goal but when you play two players who are close to 40 and Valencia who hasn't had a good game since April, you cant expect a good performance.
I'm surprised because we've seen it several times this season, but it's a kick in the teeth every time. This time it was sort of a feck up by De Gea though.

What happens to us over Xmas these days? Used to be a really strong part of the year for us but I can remember some really stupid results at Xmas time over the past few years and its shaping up that way today too...
Looked at Giggs, trying to run into all the safe areas, dare not even tackle, never go for 50-50 ball, probably scared of hurting himself. What a disappointment!
I can't believe 20 minutes of this game have gone already. We've done next to nothing so far.
