Manchester United vs. Newcastle United

Unless RvP is ready, we have to play Chico up top, but there is no point in playing him unless he gets the proper service, so we need Nani, Kagawa & Januzaj behind him. Defence is pretty much as usual, Rafael (is he fit?) or Smalling as stand in, Vidic, Evans & Evra. A couple in the midfield to make up the numbers, Jones is back so him & I'd be really tempted to give Anderson 60/70 mins to run his heart out.

De Gea
Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra
Jones, Anderson
Nani, Kagawa, Januzaj
Hernandez

Don't think it will be easy, but this team should play some good stuff.

I personally don't think Kags has done anything in the last two games to deserve a start on Saturday.

Newcastle play similiarly to us, long ball, 2 in midfield. It should be quite an open game. Tiote is a fouling machine and I can see Januzaj drawing in plenty of fouls from him. Maybe our best hope is to get him sent off.

Valencia------Cleverley---Fellaini-----Webleck

CMon Moysey, I know you want to

Kagawa was great vs Leverkusen, had some flashes v Spurs, but unfortunately (like everyone else to be fair) was nowhere to be seen for most of last night. Still, I'd start him again, the more games he can get in his best position the better and we don't have any other alternatives right now.

---------------De Gea-------------------

Rafael--------Evans---Vidic-------Evra

-----------Anderson--Fellaini-------------

Nani-----------Kagawa----------Januzaj

---------------Van Persie--------------

So glad we don't have to wait long to erase last night from the memory. I think that lineup above will get the job done and actually has potential to play some fast paced, attacking football. Valencia and Welbeck don't deserve to start this one. If Van Persie is injured then put Hernandez in. The trio of Januzaj, Nani and Kagawa will create chances.

Yes please.

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Fellaini Anderson
Nani Kagawa Januzaj
Van Persie

I would like that.

The last 3 games have been must-wins but feck me this is a must-win.

Robin, wherefore art thou?

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Jones Anderson
Nani Kagawa Januzaj
Van Persie

I would like that.

I'd prefer that. Hernandez for RVP if he isn't fit.

If we start with Welbeck on the left wing and/or Valencia on the right it'll be another nail in Moyes' coffin.

What do you think I think you think it means then?
You think that I think that you think that I think it means where is he. But I'm just annoyed I have to love the grey haired man so much whilst our Rodney and the Shinj can't win games for us when really I want to love them.

It means why are you RvP, not where are you RvP, but I think you knew that.

De Gea
Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra
Jones, Anderson
Nani, Kagawa, Januzaj
Welbeck

Wherefore is the opposite to therefore. It's a synonym, wherefore is asking why, art thou Romeo, meaning why are you Romeo (Romeo more referring to his house - Montagues) Since you all cared so much

This, except I'd like Hernandez up top with Kagawa behind.

When Hernandez plays up top you need a Rooney or RvP in behind or you have no-one to hold up the ball at all. It's a potential problem imo.

But who will score if Chicha won't play (and RVP doesn't come back from injury). Welbeck won't score even if they play without keeper.

Ok, so why do we need to hold up the ball? I realise that's a style but against a team like Newcastle, or when you are a team like Manchester United, I wouldn't place onus on holding up the ball. Hernandez retention is better than people credit him for, his footwork seems to have improved of late also and I see no reason why we'd put Welbeck up top as a lone striker for our main source of goals

I think Jones has to start.

De Gea
Rafael--Smalling--Evans--Evra
Jones--Anderson/Fellaini
Nani--Kagawa--Januzaj
Hernandez

So no Rooney and RVP....We're crossing the ball into Hernandez and Kagawa then....Yeah like that'll work...Then again Tony V's crosses are inspector clueso like these days

Team I want to see regardless of likelihood:

--------------De Gea----------------
Rafael---Evans----Vidic-------Evra
----------Jones----Anderson-------
Nani---------Januzaj--------Young
-------------Hernandez------------

---------------De Gea----------------
Rafael-----Vidic------Evans-------Evra
----------Jones-----Fellaini------------
Nani-----------Kagawa---------Januzaj
--------------Chicharito---------------

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Anderson, Cleverley, Young, Valencia, Welbeck.

That bench is rubbish TBH.

I'd like to see something different, nani, januzaj and kagawa playing off a central striker, we're not secure defensively whatever we seem to do so would rather go for a strong attack. Definitely don't think we can play hernandez and welbeck as between them creativity will take too much of a hit and I don't think them compliment each other at all. Could see Moyes trying to grind one out though with jones, clev and fellaini in the middle, but this is a must win game.

Damm, hadn't realised Rooney had got 5 bookings. Just what we need!

We certainly need the Fergie esque ability to bounce back after a setback!

Just realisd I've seen 3 games at home this year, and seen us score once! Shocking.

If there is no RVP, or Carrick.

DDG
Rafael Vidic Evans/Smalling Evra
Young Jones Anderson Nani
Kagawa Hernandez/Welbeck

There is no point playing "run down a blind alley" Valencia.

That's just a horrible, horrible team.
