Imagine if he starts this

DDG
Smalling-Rio-Vida-Evra
Cleverley-Fellaini
Tony-Rooney-Young
Welbeck

DDG
Varela Evans Smalling Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Januzaj Mata Kagawa
Welbeck

Bench: Wilson + 6

Is what I'd love to see!

Genuinely have no clue what to expect lineup wise, it's exciting. With moyes it changed every week but for the most part you could predict it mostly. With giggs there is genuinely no clue what he'll go for.
De gea
Jones Vidic Evans Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Valencia Mata januzaj
Rooney

Maybe fletcher in for Cleverley. Hopefully giggs subs himself on. Would like rio to get a start in one of the remaining games, same with giggs. Hoping wilson gets a chance too, he deserves it.

No - Giggsy confirmed RVP and 1 other were out injured, can't remember the second for the life of me.

He's is training though, I've seen pics:

Rooney also looks very happy:

Rooney also looks very happy:
Among players Ryan Giggs was slways someone special... Xavi knows his legend, Del Pierro and Zidane knew it a long time ago.

The guy is what Maldini is to AC Milan, possibly even more because the guy's still playing and enjoying it to the full.

You just can't hate this guy and Rooney's surely not an exception.

Can anyone recommend a good pub in Manhattan that shows Premiership matches?

Should be exciting to see what line up he prefers. I hope Varela gets the start and we stop dicking around with center backs playing fullback positions. Wouldn't even mind a left back at right back as long as its not a center back or a winger.

I can see him starting Cleverley, he's stated he wants to say us play attacking, dynamic and fast paced football and Cleverley, for all his problems, does allow us to play high tempo. Put him next to Carrick and just unleash the players in the final third to wreak havoc.

I was thinking that but he played 90 minutes last night so I can't see it.

Doesn't compute.

There's really nothing Cleverley provides that we cannot get by playing someone like Kagawa in that position next to Carrick. The one knock against Kagawa playing deeper was his defensive awareness and dear old Tom has never shown he had it either. Infact Giggs himself is a better option.

Fair do's, I am talking about a Cleverley of at least a year ago now. Still believe he'd have it in him to reproduce those performances against lower half opposition, just needs to regain confidence.
Wouldn't like seeing Kagawa that far back either in a 2 man midfield, would stop him playing his proper game as he would have to help out too much defensively.

Might be over-egging the word 'massive' there, still good he's up for it.
He said massive occasion (which truly is because Giggs will be in charge, wow!! And 4 of Class 92 reunion at the dugout at OT putting their heads together), rather than massive game (which is not).

I am so looking forward to the game

Woke up absolutely buzzing about this game. The next 12 hours is going to be a long wait.

I expect to see Januzaj, Welbeck and Rooney start with Giggs in charge. Probably Mata completing the attacking four.

It will be a shame for Kagawa but maybe Giggs will be brave and try him in centre-midfield.

I don't think anyone has a clue what the side is going to be today. Probably with wide men, I imagine he won't play both Kagawa and Mata in the same side, 442 perhaps? No idea but I don't care :D

I'm wet.

God damn rain....but I am really excited for this game too.

I really think the players will get a lift from the change in management and that extra something will be enough to roll over Norwich but as to the side It will be very interesting, I hope we have seen the last of Smalling at full back and whoever plays in cm has a lets win this 4-3 rather than 1-0 attitude.

By the sound of things Giggsy thinks that the dressing room athmosphere and pyschololgical message were wrong under Moyes and that in a way the players were being hindered rather than helped before they went onto the pitch, not absolving the players of blame for all the abject performences but this plus poor team selection and game management changed a squad from Champions to chumps in a matter of weeks.

Today I am hoping for a total transformation, A team playing like a weight has been lifted. I even hope that we might see something of a resurrection from Tom Cleverley at some stage. Roll on the game, I am really looking forward to this match despite there being not a lot riding on it.

Although we all want a 340598-0 win, we have to be realistic, and remember that last week we were shit. There may be improvements today but I doubt it'll be huge unless Giggs is a miracle worker.

A win, with Rooney dropped would be a result

I've heard from several places he will be dropping Mata and Fellaini and brining in Januzaj, Cleverley and Welbeck.

Hard to say if Rooney will play or be rested because of his toe?

I think it will be:

--------------------------DE GEA-----------------------------

VALENCIA---------JONES--------EVANS/SMALLING---------EVRA

---------------CLEVERLEY--------CARRICK---------------------

JANUZAJ----------------KAGAWA----------------------WELBECK

------------------------ROONEY-------------------------------

Maybe played n different positions but I think they will be the players on the pitch, maybe Fletcher instead of one of them, maybe kags or Rooney if he is rested.

Doubt mata will be dropped and doubt even more that the team will be leaked beforehand.

Nothing has been officially leaked, but if Mata doesn't play then obviously someone did hear something.

Either way I suppose we will find out soon enough.
True, I would just find it hard to believe that in a week when Giggsy has said he wants to see players attack and take people on that he would drop Mata one of our most creative outlets. I certainly hope someone misheard ;)

Have to set the alarm for 2am, don't know if I will get to sleep before hand though, too excited. Have not said that many times this season.
