Manchester United vs. Reading

RvP, Rooney and Hernandez apart, most of our other players shoot like they've never been in the penalty box before. We've become quite wasteful off late. It was a good start to the game but we've looked very average since then. Nani has been fantastic with his two efforts. We really need to get some result here, a draw would be terrible!
 
Have they had any shot on goal ?

We've had like 8.

Don't get how it's a horrible performance.
 
Pretty much every 50/50 decision going Reading's way it seems.
 
Ando and Cleverley both need to take the game to Reading, both have been average. No better, no worse. Nani has livened things up a bit now.
 
It's been a very casual performance, but I can still see us scoring a few when we eventually get that first goal. The floodgates will open.

What would a loss be?
 
I'd say both Anderson and Cleverley have been quite poor. Done some nice stuff going forward, but they can't control the game, too much of it's going on between them and the defence.
 
In a weird way, I wouldnt mind a replay..
The players out there could do with more games..
 
Valencia has been shocking again. The last time he beat a man was in 2011/12. How the hell he manages to start pretty much every week is beyond me. Otherwise, shit first half, capped of wonderfully by an Jones' injury. Feck off.

Wtf is Mariner on? Fergie is not happy.

Cleverley needs to get more involved. Towards the end of the half Ando had the end of the half near our end and Clev just stands back.

Nervous for the second half.
 
Terrific first 10mins, where it was incredible Reading didn't conceded, but then it's been a fairly tumescent affair since.

Nani has spiced it up a bit. And I dare say Valencia's "this season" style is better suited to right back, as he can delay and look for an easy ball there a lot more, as less pressure to take someone on.

Need to get this first goal very quick, as otherwise there's the risk of Reading doing a Portsmouth and stealing it.

He's very careless when tackling, yeah. Going in like he did is asking for an injury, but let's not hope it's too bad. Seemed to get a lot better as he walked to the tunnel.
 
Anderson looked fecked after 10 mins. Time to bring Carrick on to bring some brains to the midfield.
