True, but this performance is not good enough surely. No creativity or urgency, and we don't want this to be dragged to a nail-biting finish. We'll have enough of those later on in the season.

Last time we lead in a premier league game at old trafford at half time, and lost. Was 29 years ago
Really boring half really. We don't look that up for it, but neither do they really. Rio our best player easily in that half. Giggs and Anderson have been decent individually but as a pair they haven't dominated as much as they should. We need Carrick on there.

Very quite half in the end. At least we are up 1-0. Hopefully we lift the tempo a little bit more in the second half and create more chances.

Bloody hell, that was an incredibly boring half. Mind you, we're winning and I'll take a boring win but at 1-0 we continue to sleep walk in this match and it could hurt us.
