classic sam. they love me, tbh
Phelan going to do the presser apparently. I'm not surprised.
Once again it is proven that it takes a fair bit of luck to win the CL. One piss poor decision by an official and you are done.
No Rooney. What the feck?
On balance in that tie we were second best in Munich which ultimately did us.The Rafael second yellow was a consequence of a stupid first down to inexperience, so the two do not really comapre favourably as were good value in Madrid and were the better team here tonight.
About to watch the highlights on ITV.
Why am I doing this to myself?![]()
Don't accept that at all. We were 3-0 up to Bayern! And then Rooney went off injured, and them Rafael got sent off.
Only then did they get back in the game.
And they only won the first leg late on.
Tonight's only saving grace is that it's only the 2nd round.
But now watch Barcelona go out, and Madrid stroll to the title.
Cakir recent red cards:
Tonight: Nani
Dec 2012: Cahill (Chelsea) vs Corninthians
Fifa club world cup final
Sept 2012: Gerrard (England) vs Ukraina
FIFA World Cup Qualifier
Apr 2012: Terry (Chelsea) vs Barcelona
UCL Semi
March 2011: Balotelli (Man City) vs Dynamo Kiev
Europa League round of 16
Anyone see a pattern?
Same. I can't bring myself to stand up from the sofa. I don't want to watch this again.
My Dog is called Giggsy![]()
Didn't realise Roy Keane was now a total arsehole!!
feck off back to oblivion.
Didn't one of their players go in high on Evra and only get a yellow? If the ref is being ultra picky about dangerous play, then their keeper should've walked for punching Vidic in the face. What a joke tonight was.
We played the perfect game up until he red card. Ronaldo was nullified. I felt surprisingly comfortable, then the ref ruined the game.
Erica has one called Keano....booooo!!!
The Ref was 100% bribed. Real Madrid have been getting all the decisions their way in Spain and in Europe since they landed their first Euro cup a long time ago and probably even before that. Porto were banned from the champions league a few seasons ago for offering referees money and also prostitutes the nights leading up to a game to influence their decisions.
To suggest Italian and Spanish teams are not doing the same is comical.....
Italian teams have obviously been low key with influencing referees ever since Juventus were dumped down a couple of divisions for bribing referees in Seria A but you can be sure that they will be up to their old tricks again once the spot light is on them less again.
What is 200,000 pound paid into a Swiss bank account for a referee from Real Madrid if they know that they will make 10 million quid upwards if the progress to the next round!!
Well, that's that for Keane. I will no longer remember him with even the slightest bit of fondness - he sounds almost happy about the red card. cnut of the highest order.
Yup. My least favourite ex-United player. He is a sour cnut of the highest order.
Bump... The ref killed the match by giving Nani an undeserved red card. The ABUs are happy, of course, cos' they hate to see Manchester United winning trophies. We, as Manchester United fans, are not cry babies, we know that our team was in a very good condition to go for the treble. It's been really hard but we lick our wounds and move on. Sir Alex Ferguson should be thanked for not having given his opinion on that day. As for Nani, for once I felt really sorry for him, I hate his antics, but the foul was a yellow card at most. The ref made a serious mistake that will surely hinder his own career. I hope UEFA have enough balls to come out and admit it.
