Team is playing well. We look strong at the back and very threatening going forward. We can get another couple.

Referee is a total twat though, I'm worried we'll get a man sent off.

I'd like to see Kagawa be slightly more gung-ho. It's how Januzaj has gone from unknown kid to potential England legend (yes I know he can't actually play for them but you know what I mean).

Take Rafael off and put Nani on (Valencia to RB)...Rafael is getting sent off otherwise

Take Rooney off (because I don't really like him), and put Janujaz on.

Decent performance so far, need the second goal. Kagawa has had some sexy touches, but needs to be involved more.

Very encouraging performance. Just need the killer second.

I'd love to see Januzaj come on for Valencia, who hasn't been poor, but considering the space he's been given, could've done a hell of a lot more.

Good test for Rafael this second half. On a yellow. Been here before. See it out.

Can't believe people are complaining about Valencia. The same wankers everytime who let their preconceptions overrule their eyes.
Sometimes you see comments like finally Valencia is looking like the player of two years ago, even though he has had some good games this season and late last season.

Not as consistent as he once was, but a valuable player again. Which is great

The amount of hoofing today has been incredible. Get the ball, hoof it forward. Nearly everytime.

If this is Moyes tactics then he needs to sort his shit out, and quickly.

Only De Gea hoofed the ball but it is to be expected considering that the game had very high tempo and they are good at doing pressure. Definitely less hoofing than usual and likely our best performance this season so far.

I don't think we have hoofed the ball so far, our passing has been quite good today. A bit more concise today.

I hope my entire life up until this point has been a dream just so this post is actually a figment of my imagination and nobody actually thought or typed it.

If it wasn't for Irwin that posts would have been entirely forgotten and everyone of us would have thought that we only imagined it.

Moyes got it right with the Giggs selection, not us - even if we did have reason to be concerned.

Jones + Evans - keep this partnership for as long as possible.

Rafael might need to be substituted the way this referee is behaving. If so, put Valencia RB and Nani RW.

If needed, definitely. Don't even think about bringing Smalling on. Maybe also gets Moyes to see a further advantage of Fabio over Buttner.

At times United have been very goods, but quite sloppy. DDG and Rooney the star performers, and Valencias been quite good. Kagawa, and Chico disappointing , but sitll think one of those two will score.

Agree with the first thing and Rooney being our star performer, but really on the others? I thought Kagawa has been really good apart from the one sloppy pass which led to a corner, and Hernandez has played very well as well apart from being offside that one time. Kagawa has been great on the ball though, he just makes us look so much more pleasant on the eye.

So Sam, are you going to explain your post. Or was it that you just needed your Moyes slagging quota for the day?

I'm sooo sooo sorry.

We need to get a second because we dread the 70th minute moment when Moyes decides 1-0 is enough.

I'm one of Moyes' biggest critics but we haven't been hoofing it forward at all apart from when we clear it really. In general we've actually played very good football basically whenever we go forward, just not been clinical enough to get another goal yet, when we quite easily could have.

Needs to finetune his crossing but we've looked more dangerous down that flank, anyone should be able to see that.

I don't know why De Gea doesn't just pass it to our defenders facing their own goal who are being pressured by defenders. What is Moyes thinking?

I'm not sure you 'get' things, if that's what you got out of my post.
Pretty sure the point was that Rooney or our team plays better when Van Persie isn't playing. I'm not sure that's a state of mind you want to be drawing attention to.

Pretty much this anto. In fairness though almost every ball has been dangerous and he's also created space for Raf to play in one or two good ones.

Moyes slagging quota? I like Moyes and have said many times I hope he succeeds. I've also defended him plenty of times. So I'm not sure where you're getting that from.

As for the post, ain't it obvious? I wish we'd stop punting it forward aimlessly so much. We've been doing it all season (last time I looked we'd played the most long balls in the PL). We look a far far better team when we pass it around (as we have done at times today), but we need to stop being so direct. I don't know if its tactics (I hope not) or the players are just getting a bit to anxious to get the ball forward quickly. Either way, it needs to stop.

Our players need to shoot more, Giggs should have shot when he crossed for Hernandez disallowed goal and similarly Kagawa should have shot right at the end of the half.

 That was great play, the sort of simple devastating assist Giggs could do even in his 50s. Shame about the offside, but there were two of our players who could have bagged one there.
