Manchester United vs. Southampton

Anyone with a working sopcast link PM it please? Would be greatly appreciated. If not, a good english-commentary stream would do:)

There's no way DDG is to blame there, the pass back was horrific.

Wouldn't say that. He could have moved quicker and cleared it. Frightened of giving a pen away no doubt. Most of the blame is Carrick, but De Gea has to take some too.

Carrick ugh. What's going on?

Ando would put his head where others wouldn't put there feet.

We're obviously a bit rattled, but this is also what our play can look like without Cleverley. Anderson needs to be a calming influence, and instead he keeps trying hollywood passes whenever he gets the ball.

Didn't know he had in his contract that everything should be perfectly placed and measured when dealing with him or he'll jump over the ball.

How is that not a foul?

Do the opposition have to murder one of our players before we get a decision these days?

Jesus wept, he done what any other keeper would of done, made himself as big as possible.

Don't be a moron, you don't put a keeper in a 50-50 back pass with an attacker with the ball in the air. That was criminal by Carrick.

''A great run by Jones''

About 5 seconds too late.

I really can't blame St. Gea too much. Carrick put him in a bad situation.

Top Goalkeepers deal with bad situations such as this. That's what sets them apart.

He should have done much much better. Basically anything other than jumping over the ball was a better option.

Should have anticipated better to begin with, then if he wasn't reaching should have made himself bigger instead of committing too early and let the striker make the first move. Hell, even a Indirect FK was better if he had over committed.

What the hell was he trying to do ?

Rooney's class.

Smalling needs to learn that he can't make long passes. He tries them all the time and never ever gets one right. It's not in his locker, and he's just giving away the ball.

He could have done better but he could have done worse, a slow bouncing ball like that would make it easy to poleaxe the striker there. Carrick made a massive mistake that St Peter would have taken his head off for. De Gea just looks guilty.

It was a bad back pass and Carrick deserves a lot of the blame, but seriously VDS and Shmeichel or any other keeper who does basics well would have dealt with that a lot differently.
