Manchester United Vs Southampton

That is all very well, but the job should be done by our world class players like Rooney and RVP. They are paid to do a job and they should do it. However, only RVP showed up to score, whereas Rooney...

Aye, that's another problem. Playing two strikers doesn't seem to be working that well to be fair, no linking between the midfield / attackers. If it wasn't for Evans' good distribution today, it would've been even more visible ( even though I'm sure that we're all very aware of that ). We've been unlucky with the 2-3 crossbars we've had today but yea, it should've been killed off anyway.

Those subs though, feck me, SOTON was going through our midfield like through butter once Fellaini came off.

We had more than enough chances to put it to bed. Was unlucky, Southampton played well but we deserved the win more - one of those days!

It's not one of those days when you make decisions that make it a major possibility that you won't win. We were good for about 40 minutes (shortly before scoring until Nani went off) but Moyes gave Southampton a way back into the game with shit and negative changes, it was obvious they would create one proper chance late on because we just kept inviting them on to us.

Aura of invincibility is long gone. If this continues we might not even qualify for the Europa League. Even Champions League qualification looks a tall order now.

We didn't take our chances and got inevitably punished. The God awful subs didn't help either.

We're in a real fecking mess at the moment.

It wasn't unlucky though.

Can't really call hitting the crossbar twice and some of our other chances not unlucky - surely?

Fair enough it was pretty gutless and even more inexcusable at home. But marginally unlucky is fair, I think anyway.

I'm not Moyes' biggest fan, but this game could have been so much different if some of our chances had gone in and you would have all been singing his praises. Bar hit twice and a few great saves by their keeper. We created some great chances to put the game to bed, but that isn't Moyes' fault that they weren't put away.

There can really be no defence of Moyes. I look forward to anyone that can muster a rational explanation of his insane substitutions. And greatly promising as he is, Moyes' selection of Januzaj smacks of desperation (and that's not having a go at his performance today). I don't think I even want to look at the league table tonight.

Someone need to remind Moyes he is not managing Everton right now, for feck sake.

I fecking hope Moyes learned a lesson this afternoon!!! He looked a bit taken by the moment as he walked into the tunnel. To be bullied around at home is not acceptable. SAF looked like he was about to implode.

He didn't learn them when he did this repeatedly at Everton. He's the most negative, conservative manager in the league.

Come on lads, off an international break the majority of there team has had two weeks off. We should have killed them off, Moyes keeps managing like he has no faith in the players. Giggs is DONE!!! Yeah he's 40 and still playing but he has been poor for about 2 seasons now.

Sack David Moyes as soon as possible before it is too late and employ Jose Mourinho if possible.
Zaha for Nani is the obvious change but Giggs??? Kagawa for Rooney so not to change the shape of the team too much.
My plea to Giggs is to completely retire like Scholes and let the youngsters have their chances.
Don't ruin United chances of winning something this season.
Even Zaha overdoing his dribble is better entertainment than Giggs making half hearted tackles just to
protect himself from injuries. Attack is the best form of defence and that's what United knows how to do.

It's not about the 8 points - Moyes is not good enough and is too negative. Fellaini is shite as well.

Who let you onto the mains? Whoever it is should be banned.

In that respect I suppose but we created the situation ourselves. Moyes blinked in the duel which SAF almost never did.

The starting line up was not negative at all. I agree his subs were wank, but the team put out had more than enough chances to kill the game off IMO. That isn't Moyes' fault.

Giggs should identify the problem and retire tbh. If he doesn't, Moyes is going to keep putting bringing him on.
To say it's all his problem is very unfair. At his level, he's expecting his team mates to get into the space he passed to. Our players are not Ole or Scholes unfortunately!!!! Moyes' problem is not about bringing in Giggsy. His problem, among others, is not having the vision and what's with him not using Kagawa!!!!?? What has Filliani done to deserve his place anyway?!

What do you think Fergie thinks of this appalling start to the season? Especially as he selected Moyes to replace him. How can fans support Moyes when his attitude is so fecking negative?

It's not the only problem if that's what you mean...it was certainly one of them today.

feck it feck it feck it!! The game was ours, just couldn't kill the game.. Wednesday please come fast..

Fergie told Moyes keep my backroom staff - he didn't. This is all on Moyes head - their is blame on Fergie but the vast majority is due to Moyes idiocy. Face facts he isn't good enough.

Moyes record against the top sides proves he isn't good enough - why you think he is going to change suddenly - he hasn't a winners mentality and never will.

Thank feck you don't post more often.

How was it unlucky? The only reason Saints didn't score earlier was because Oswaldo was incredibly shit. They had more possession and more shots on goal than us. They deserved a draw.

The subs Moyes did ensured we had no chance of getting the second goal whilst inviting Southampton to have a go at us, not the first time his substitutions have been wank again for us.
