Manchester United vs. Stoke

Yep, BBC:

2043: I've never seen this before. A spectator has managed to get on the pitch at Goodison Park and has handcuffed himself to Joe Hart's goalposts. Plenty of day-glo clad officials surrounding him trying to free the intruder. They aren't having much luck at the moment. Extraordinary.

It's Jim White - he won't unlock himself unless managers start spending.

It's a protest against the Werewolf games.

Score a goal early second half, cruise the rest of it. Profit.

My mate is a City fan and he's there. Text me and I could not believe it. Looked on here and all the sports pages but couldn't see anything. Direct news

I rather risk a Scholes red than play Pogba, besides, Scholes is having a really good game, he runs the show.

Very happy to see some sort of break (the penalty) go our way.We needed something "special" to score a goal as Stoke were defending very well.I have to question their offensive tactic, what are they actually trying to do ?

Is Giggs on the bench? He'd be more likely to come on for Scholes, if anyone is.

I've really enjoyed this performance.

People will say we've lacked penetration, but Stoke have set up to be obdurate and hard to play through.

Just by switching the ball from centre to left, left to centre, centre to right and so on, we've created decent openings.

More of the same in the second and Stoke oughtn't be able to keep up with us.

Really sharp performance all over the pitch.

Pleasing.

Quietest player with the goal - Hernandez's penalty was the tops. Wasn't confident when he stepped up, but that was a proper penalty.

You're not allowed talk about anymore of our youngsters :nono:

Good shout actually. Hopefully he'll get a decent run out.

Don't worry, I've made two player threads in my time here. One on De Gea in the newbs when we needed a VdS replacement and one on Morrison, not a good record at the moment. :nervous:

I don't much care for Steve McManamam, but he did make me laugh in that half. Ian Darke told him we've scored in the 27th minute of the last three games against Stoke, and Steve responded with, 'well I'll always look back to this day and remember where I was when you told me that statistic'. Made me chuckle.
