Poor from Hernandez has to hit the target

The players have totally underperformed all season. Seriously. Moyes only deserves part of the blame.

Remember when we used to moan in the Matchday threads, even though we were winning title after title?

Those were the days.

We're not scoring today, another travesty of a performance. It started so brightly too. Roll on next season, this one has been a write-off from the word go.

How many times do you have to repeat this before you believe it?

I've thinking of going the deluded route..

I'm absolutely certain. I can't wait. Of course, it's entirely dependant on the work Van Gaal does on the training field, but I'm hopeful.

Losing will actually be better for us than winning, so, that's some consolation.

Carrick has been poor all season long - but there is a criminal lack of movement ahead of him to play those passes to. There's been a unbridgeable chasm between midfield and attack all season long(er).

RvP and Hernandez need to switch more appropriately. RvP blew his chance with his right foot, now Hernandez had a go with his left. If only it were that simple.

Just when we think this season that the most terrible performance of season is beyond us...the team has something new up their sleeve for us.

Perhaps play 4-4-2 against a team of that quality that is also playing 4-4-2? It's no good having Mata in the whole when his only passing options are to the flanks because Hernandez is so easy to cover when he's the only player with any moevement.

I'm not quite getting what you mean buddy? Are you saying no us on playing a 4411? With Hernandez up top?

We "need" two midfielders and a left back. A revolution throughout training and on the pitch will surprise many, as existing players miraculously look like better ones, but it won't me.

Our central midfield is dross, we possess none whom I feel are good enough or quick enough. We could realistically sign at least 3. Left back is a no brainer, an experience center back is also needed and I would be surprised if we get another winger.

Too many of them in terms of technique are not good enough to play for a top club. Only Mata, RVP and Januzaj are at the levels required.

Definitely.

People always bang on about how "we have better players than Swansea..." etc.
Yes, but how many of our 'better' players are actually better at controlling and moving with the ball under pressure?

That play there has got to be some of the most gutless, pathetic football i have ever seen.

Carrick and Fletcher don't belong at this level any more.
