Manchester United vs. Sunderland

Its a new looking line-up; usually the attacking players i'm used to are Saha, Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs and Carrick behind. None of them start. But this lot are good enough to beat Sunderland.

Birdman will score twice as many as Tevez

I`m glad to see that team starting. Giggs hasn`t been performing and it`s only right that Eagles is given a chance, at United you need to probe yourself every week. Will be great to see how Anderson performs as well.

Why can't Fletcher get in the team, and yet Eagles, and all of our summers signings (all at the same time) can?

I never lie :boring:
The names are right, that's the starting 11. But if we play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 remains to see.

I think it was the earlier ones. Just come online and there are always loads of so called official lineups in the thread.

Gordon, Etuhu, Nosworthy, Higginbotham, Collins, Chopra, Jones, Leadbitter, Yorke, Wallace, Stokes

I'd rather have Fletch or Carrick in the team than Eagles.

But to see Anderson is fantastic, cant wait, while Saha's waiting to come on!

This game has 0-0 written all over it.

Why is everyone complaining about Eagles getting a start? If he didn`t people would be claiming Fergie never gives youngsters chances anymore.

OK, then it will be:

----------Van der Sar------------
Brown--Ferdinand---Vidic------Evra
-------Hargreaves-Scholes--------
Eagles------Anderson---------Nani
-----------Tevez----------------

In the 4-2-3-1 as usual.

Will probably look like that yes. Looks more than good enough to cope with Sunderland IMO.

Tevez is a good player and against Sunderland his lack of pace may not be as important. He might get a goal today.

Have we established that Tevez is in fact "lacking of pace"? To be fair Micah Richards isn`t the one you want to compare him with, that beast is fast.

It's more that I think Eagles is not ready yet. Hope he proves me wrong

Scousers on the phone winding me up, you'd think they just won the premiership, in august.

Derby are 20th FFS

Yeah that`s why he gets games. Nobody is ready before they get tried. I`m not saying he`s going to rock our world but he can only get better if he`s given fair amounts of football. Let`s hope he does well today.

My dad (a Liverpool fan) has always been telling me that "It`s in May that it counts" when United are in front before Christmas.

Well, he`s dancing and singing right now. Muppet.

He may be tired with how long his season has been but he has been given several threw balls and couldnt get passed the defender. Yes richards is a great defender but this has happened at least once in all of our games.

He might also be playing out of position so i dont really blame him. saha is they type of player that is needed in the system we currently play.

Hopefully he will net a few today (tevez)

Aye, very odd

Not the first time it's taken Fletch a couple of months to break his way back into the team though. Same thing happened 2004/2005 season

We'll have the last laugh ... trust me ;)

Giggs has scored 1 goal in 25 matches for club and country, this is frankly woeful.

That may be but we have no one that can adequately replace him.. Yet.

He has played out of position so many times in the 12-18 months due to injuries and suspensions.

He also is a great influence for the new players with his work ethic and leadership.

He is invaluable and why he has never been sent packing..

If we are to win anything this year he will be a huge reason why.

unfrecking believable fulham have caught spurs with an overhead kick
