Manchester United vs. Sunderland

We are controlling the game but still toothless upfront. Anderson and Tevez looked ineffective.

the final third is the problem. We have no one to hold up the ball....to spread the play with back to goal, we have to go through the defense and hope there is someone there to target at...
 
Disappointing first half. The first 25-30 minutes was absolutely horrid. No desire to do anything whatsoever. Started to establish ourselves later in the half. Hopefully we'll start hitting the back of the net.

FLetch needs to replace Brown on RB. Need more width and someone who can hold the ball and spread the play up front. Tevez ain't a holding striker and he's frustrated out there. Can't blame Anderson much cause he hardly had any room. Nani needs to stay on the wing. That's about all I can say if we really wanna reduce the five point deficite. Hope somethings about to happen in the second half.
 
Carrick should be playing, he was bought to open up defences in these tight games and he will hopefully take some of the sunderland players away from Paul Scholes. Saha is a obvious one, if he is fit enough he should be on so we at least have something to hit and vary our play with.

Agreed. I seem to get shouted down every time I suggest this but Wes Brown is not a full-back. He hasn't had one decent game in that position all season. Surely Fletch can't do any worse?
 
Tevez will come good...he's been thrown in at the deep end as a lone striker, has no understanding yet of how everyone else plays. Doesn't mean good news for the season, but I feel for him a bit....
 
Not the most entertaining of halves. Very frustrating.
 
So... my illustrious Cafites have decided that Fletcher should come on for Brown, Saha on for Eagles (with Anderson pushed to left wing) and Carrick for Hargreaves?

Don't think carrick will do the trick...
Better option would be bringing on Saha for hargreaves and dropping anderson to MF. Carrick doesn't have the magic to change the game.

I'm not blaming him at all, almost feel a bit sorry. He tries, it's just not working for him at all, never been in the game. I'd bring on Saha for a winger and play Anderson at LW
