Yes was thinking that he played well against City, Just like to see Welbeck getting game time.
Ideally I want to see Nani getting back in the line up but I'm starting to think that is never going to happen.
If were playing Liverpool, and denied them the title, I imagine there'd be cheering. In fact, there'd definitely be cheering. We cheer when City drop points these days.
Same would apply to Leeds or City, but Sunderland? Who the feck are Sunderland?
What is his injury though? the last time he played was quite a while ago and he was only suppose to be out for 10 days and heard nothing since. Other than he is supposedly out the door in January which I hope isn't true but something doesn't seem right with it.
A few weeks ago it was announced 4 or 5 weeks, which would lead it right to the start of January. Nothing suspicious about that at all... "Injured" until the transfer window opens. Hope I'm wrong though.
Just do the job and collect the points. We can't lower ourselves to get "revenge" on Sunderland. Bigger scalps lie ahead of us and all focus have to be on the quality of play that bags treys, nothing else.

Do we think Rooney will play? Also, no need to waste time on a small, minor club such as Sunderland. Let their fans talk, they'll forever be a small club.
Rooney WILL play. Fergie has said Rooney needs games to retain his fitness. Sure he played last week against Cluj.
If Johnson is on his game, evra is going to have a tough time.
Lindegaard
Smalling
Jones
Vidic
Buttner
Valencia
Scholes
Fletcher
Young
Welbeck
Hernandez
Time of the season when squad rotation is key
Having a laugh? Exactly the type of team that will see us overrun. No thanks.
Will SAF go back to putting Lindegaard between the posts?
The question is 'who the feck are man Utd?'. The answer: the most hated club in the country? That's why it was to bet expected from Sunderland fans.
That said, I think had they seem City lose the league in such a manner at their ground instead, I think they would rub it in their noses too. All part of the banter really, I will forever want Sunderland to do poorly but it's harmless and adds a nice little edge to the fixture.
Not as much as us though. Smaller clubs love to get one up on us any way they can. There's much more history with us than City could ever imagine. They've won the title and act like they've ruled the roost for the past decade!!
We'll continue to be the most hated if we keep collecting the trophies.

Sunderland are similar to Stoke - they seem to think they've some sort of rivalry with us. I can understand the likes of Liverpool, City, Leeds, Arsenal and Chelsea hating us. We've had rivalries with Liverpool & Leeds for years, City obviously being the other team from Manchester, and the fact they've come into success in recent years. Arsenal back in the 90's-early 00's were classics and with Chelsea becoming a force through Roman's billions.
But who are Sunderland to us? They come to OT and sing YAWN, they did the Poznan when word came through that City had won the title. I understand banter, I love a good bit of banter. But the manner in which they celebrated that on the final day was nothing short of pathetic. They couldn't give a damn that their own team lost, as long as we didn't win the league.
Nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing us absolutely thump them tomorrow. I don't mean by 3-4 goals. I mean a thumping by 7-8 goals.
haha, yeah, because 4-0 or 5-1 would just be too merciful![]()

I remember going to check up on their forum after that horrific day (not the 1-6 rapefest) and their forum was really split, almost 50-50.
Some people were acting like assholes saying how we "deserve to lose it like this", and other shit banter, but at the same time there were also a lot of people saying how they're dissapointed/ashamed, and had no idea why they'd do this.
