Manchester United vs. Sunderland

I'm pretty sure he is being sarcastic there. He's said why Rafael is being rested in that post and the last sentence or two about this being another mistake in another "big game" is the giveaway.

Yeah you are right. Apologies. Its hard to tell on here sometimes. I missed that last line on my phone.

I think we'll really miss Rafael's runs and danger from the right wing but other than that it's a good solid team.

We build a lot of our attacks out of the back down the right hand side. It'll be Rafael's ball retention that we miss more than his contributions in the final third. If I were the Sunderland left winger, I'd press Jones really high up and try to force errors. Evra will need to be on his game on the other side or it'll be another zombie performance through the middle.

Just seen on twitter that Sunderland fans are singing "you thought it was yours..." Outside OT.
Really really hope we smash them today.

We're home to the mighty Sunderland, why on earth would we possibly rest Rafael during a hectic run of fixtures, this a player who has played virtually every game so far this season, and now just when we have our other right back option returning to some kind of fitness and in need of minutes, we rest Rafael! WTF!!! I mean, it makes absolutely NO SENSE!

Respect to SAF and all yeah yeah years of success and all, but this is an absolute DISGRACE. His decisions have cost us big time this season in the big games. This looks to be yet another one unfortunately.

Sorry what ?! Yes rafa is a great player but 1 game won't hurt him. Chill the hell out.

Had a feeling Rafael will be on the bench. As he has played a lot, it is ok to give him a break though

My stream is Fox Soccer, I feel sorry for you Americans having to put up with this all the time.

OH FFS the games has not even started yet.

Nothing wrong with resting Rafael today

Is Nani injured? Why is he not on the bench?

I just want Rooney to score, go over to the Sunderland fans and start singing "Going down going down going down"
