Manchester United vs Sunderland

I think we've been alright. Sunderland are up for it, but we're slowly starting to take a bit of control. Van Persie or Rooney in place of Hernandez would see a big difference. Either way, hopefully we can build on this and wrap up the match as soon as possible.

Yip.

Why do we never create any chances from open play, even against relegation fodder?

Because we play God awful football under Moyes. We hit percetage balls down the lines or down the middle to Hernandez. There was a passage of play where Sunderland had a really good spell of possession, Carrick got the ball back and straight away he clips it over the top for a really difficult chance for Hernandez that comes to feck al. Then you have our central midfielders who are so immobile that Sunderland press them whenever our defenders have the ball, they can't make themselves available so our defenders punt long balls down the pitch. As well as Kagawa seeming to have zero chemistry with his teammates and struggling to cope with being pressed and we have a really tumescent style.

Personally I thought that half was awful to watch.

Half of you lot must be watching a different game. We have been poor I thought. Against a team 2nd of bottom, we have struggle to creat much. Our passing is woeful, and why are we so scared to play out of defense? 442 is not working.

It's all Moyes knows.

Nice to see United players closing down and not give five yard space like they normally do

Players we thought could take freekicks but havent cut the mustard for us:

Van Persie
Young
er...

Kagawa's ball to Herenandez looked overhit but it was actually very well controlled

RvP put in some brilliant free-kicks, he's one of the prime reasons why we were so effective from set-pieces last season.

Wayne bridge's career has really deteriorated, do City still pay his wages as a linesman?
