Manchester United Vs The Wiggers

Glad to see Pique playing. When I have seen him he's looked pretty solid it'll be good to see him.

Shame Anderson never got the nod though would have liked to see him alongside Scholes.

Against who?

I watched a lot of Pique for Zaragoza and thought he was pretty bad in midfield, he looked way more comfortable as a centre back.

actually he had Ronaldinho in his pocket in the league game at home, helping Zaragoza to the victory if I'm correct.

O'Shea will be in the middle, Pique at RB.

Good team and strong bench. Kinda hoped Nani and Saha started but other than that its fine.

One of these games we're going to get a really really early goal and that'll be key i feel for us to really get going goalscoring wise.

Hope Pique does well regardless of where he plays; reminds me of Huddlestone a bit; great range of passing and vision but occasionally looks a bit too relaxed on the ball and is caught out.

He doesn't have anything like the passing range of Huddlestone.

Good to see him getting a chance today. A safer bet than Simpson, IMO, and he's fine at RB.

Yeah you're probably right; in any case i haven't seen Pique enough to really judge him.

I did see Simpson a couple of times and he was very good for Sunderland at right-back. Was hoping he'd get a chance instead of Pique because i'm not sure if what i gather from accounts are Piques strengths are weakness that he'll make a natural right-back in terms of overlapping runs etc.

Nice to see Pique get his chance....

Anderson could've got a chance atleast at left wing.... if not against wigan at home during a string of good results when a lot of players are injured then when ?? Lot of players at his age play for thier respective clubs, its boring when our own fans say he is just for the future, ofcourse he is,that shouldn't mean he shouldn't play now...

He was right back in that game actually, he did well though. I remember being surprised about that because a few weeks before they'd played Barca in the cup and he got absolutely ripped apart by Inesta.

I seem to remember him playing more centrally in the league game as Ronnie was playing in the centre of the park, but I've been wrong before. I do remember Barca's slaughter of Zaragoza in the cup though.

Anyone in here with some real insight to offer or is it just the same old crap?
