Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

I think Aaron Lenon is up to something here:

We should double check the locks on the trophy cabinets!

Hopefully it's a cracking game...sick of watching shite live matches on the bbc...they seem to pick some dire ones...

4-2, with Spurs taking the lead atleast once

Strong side, good to see Scholes on the bench, hopefully he'll get 20 minutes or so.

No King for Spurs is a huge boost, so I can see us wining this 3-1.

Vidic injured then. Hopefully just a knock.

SAF's clearly taking this one seriously

Good to see Anderson on the bench. Would love to see him play today, but this will mean he will be there for the more important game on wednesday.

I don't see our defence as dodgy at all. The way I see it is that O'Shea is a better right back than Brown, and Brown is a better central defender than he is right back.

Both sides with potentially dodgy defence's then.

Yep, and both without any real drive in midfield, and both with forward players who can be lethal either on the break or if given space.

Could be a very good game

We're more likely to need him today. Pompey at home shouldn't be a problem unless we make it one

Maybe so, but he has played a lot of games, carrick and a fully fit hargreaves should be fine though. If im wrong then i'll be the first one here asking why Anderson wasn't playing. lets see how it goes.

Exactly.

The only thing that I don't like is Carrick and Hargreaves in the middle. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

Is there even such thing as a fully fit Hargreaves?

Good to see Scholes on the bench. Should be a good game, hopefully Carrick will continue building his form today.

Jenas is a good player at times. But at OT he will just descend into mediocrity against Carrick and Hargreaves. As will Lennon. As will Keane. As will Berbatov. That's why they play for Spurs.

I bet after 20 minutes, if it's still 0-0, this thread will descend into anarchy.

"Carrick is shit", "Hargreaves: One signing too many", "Why isn't Anderson playing" and my personal favourite, "O'Shea is shit".

Anyone got the full Spurs team?
Cerny. Tainio, Huddlestone, Dawson, Lee, Lennon, Jenas, O'Hara, Malbranque, Keane, Berbatov

Subs: Gunter, Defoe, Prince-Boateng, Kaboul, Robinson.

I'm not 100% sure that this is the line-up, but if it is then my hopes for this game have taken a nose-dive.

No King, Tainio as makeshift RB, Huddlestone as a CB - eek!

We're always rubbish with a Carrick/Hargreaves midfield :(

But at least we have 2 brilliant subs in Anderson and the Ginger Ninja on the bench.
