I think we'll be outbattled, mostly due to both Giggs and Scholes starting. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong though, and it makes sense to rest Rooney after such a long spell out of the game.

Phew, thank feck we won't be playing any of that exciting "football" stuff today.

I was hoping for the same attacking fluidity we saw mid-week but with that team it'll probably be more of the zombie passing we've seen this season.

I love Giggs and Scholes, but they should not be starting and especially not together.

That is a painful midfield to look at.

What are the odds on a draw or us conceding in the first half i wonder...

Scholes is not a problem at all. I am delighted he is playing.

The issue I think is obviously Giggs. Lets hope he proves us wrong though

BEnch - De Gea, Anderson, Wootton, Cleverley, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck.

What happens when Scholes and Giggs gets knackered after 60-70 minutes though? They both are a problem when they start a match.

Giggs keeping Rooney on the bench :wenger:

Great attacking options on the bench. Delighted for Wooton too.. but hope he doesnt have to come on...

I'll be surprised if both play till the end. To me it looks like we might change to 4-3-3 after some subs.

Giggs. How, just how exactly does he keep getting into these lineups?

Possibly. But you just know this place would've had people complaining about not playing players in position if that was the case.

On the contrary. In the circumstances I think most people would have realised we didn't have much choice.

Scholes should not be starting? Good one.

If our complaint about Ando and Clevz is they need more big game experience, why do we keep fecking starting Giggs and Scholes? Fyck sake they are retiring either this season or next, this is so short sighted
