I wouldn't say he's our best player - at the very least both King and Berbatov are better, although King certainly and Berbatov very possibly will be still injured for this match.
When he's good, Keane can be very good, but sometimes he goes through an off-patch - like now - where he doesn't contribute that much apart from waving his arms around and complaining.
If Bent is fit (and unfortunately that also now seems to be a doubt, given that he's withdrawn from the England squad for Wednesday) then instead of Keane I'd go with Defoe up front this time around since he's looked sharp and hungry in his sub appearances so far.

More to do with the fact that as I posted earlier come Sunday Saha will of been in full training for over 3 weeks so will surely be fit enough to make some kind of appearance
He is your best player by far IMO from the players that are fit. Plus he is your captain with King out, he is hardly going to be dropped.
That's debatable. IMO we usually miss Jenas more than Keane, when either doesn't play.
He isn't going to be picked every match ahead of Defoe just because he's captain in King's absence. Last season proved that.
I'm not saying he won't start alongside Bent next match (if Bent is fit), but it's far from a given.
Lee sort of lost his way last season BUT I thought he was pretty good in his debut season (05/06)
So why would you drop our best player this season(althought it´s not much since our results have been shit)???
Carrick instead of Fletcher/Giggsy ´cause in that way we would have some real firepower on the bench...
I would play our best system and work with what we have into it, I won’t just pick the best players and play a system to accommodate them.
I would defiantly stick someone upfront with Tevez, whether that’s Giggs or Nani I am not sure, however Nani probably provides a better aerial threat.
Or stick Scholes and Tevez upfront with Carrick and Hargreaves in the centre, Giggs and Fletcher on the wingers, Nani on the bench.
What I don’t want to see is 4-3-3 again, it can be a very effective formation if you have the right personal which we don’t have at the moment, if Saha was fit he would be perfect to play as the central man but he is not and Rooney and Tevez are not the type of players to play that role.
BTW IMO I think Scholes has been our best player this season.

Good news for Spurs - according to a reliable ITK Berbatov will be fit to play, so Berbatov + A.N. Other up front: take your pick from Bent, Keane or Defoe.

I'm making no predictions apart from reckoning that the match isn't going to be the easy walk in park that you seem to imagine.
Jol is massively popular amongst the players and with his neck still on the block, the players are going to be well fired up, as they were against Derby.
And unlike the first two games this season we'll at least have an acknowledged LB in the team, and maybe at least one of our first choice CBs.
I also reckon that Berbatov is going to want put in a massive performance - given all the summer transfer speculation re. United and the fact that he feels strong loyalty to Jol.
No predictions - maybe tears for me, maybe not.
