So after an annoying first halfs watching, anybody have a decent stream for the 2nd they could PM me?

De Laet looked good whenever I saw him, is right back his usual position?

De Laet at RB against Birmingham - and even Chelsea?

i think we lack drive in the middle. We created some chances but I don't think the tempos that great and we lack at spark at the minute. There's no tackles in the middle, it's quite tame in that respect

I'd like to see Anderson for Carrick - just to drive forward. Fletcher is doing well. Valencia needs to be a bit more determined. It's a decent game but hopefully the second half we press them alot more

Odd game to comment on, but I will comment as so few people have got goood pictures.

For United, nobody's playing badly - DeLaet looks good, Tosic has done good things, Valencia is fast but seemed to appear less as the the half went on. Roo is almost very good. Owen is almost brilliant. Foster hasn't been tested despite Valencia actually having some excellent chances.

As I commented in the thread, Valencia look like a team that's still 4 weeks away from the start pf the season and the Spanish lads like Villa look like they've only been in training for a week (which they have).

On which basis the only complaint I've got is that United should look in control, with Carrick and Fletcher in the middle, and they don't.

Not sure if it's the done thing in the matchday thread, so tell me if not (I'm fairly new to the mains), but just some brief first half thoughts before I grab a beer. :)

- Valencia have made some pretty vicious challenges considering this is a 'friendly' - being competitive is fine, but they've gone in needlessly hard a few times
- De Laet looks impressive going forward and solid in defence
- Tosic is stronger on the ball and holds it up better than his frame would suggest
- Valencia are a pretty good passing side
- I'm impressed by Owen's knack of getting himself in goalscoring positions, already

That should do for now. :p

Valencia's acceleration is ridiculous, but he seems a bit lost out there, and has lost the ball too easy.
Tosic gets better for each game, encouraging stuff.
Much better from Rooney today. Probably his best pre-season game, though that doesn't say much.
Great game from De Laet.
Carrick's passing has been below average the last couple of games, not good Michael, not good.
