Manchester United vs Valencia CF

Good to see Valencia doing what we all hope he will add to the side, and fantastic leap and heap from Rooney.

Very promising.

Valencia come right back down and almost score

Owen's timing on the through-balls has been great, he's looking a lot quicker than usual as well. The finishing will come soon enough.

Very poor from Owen

I do think he should have done better, but that was the toughest of his three chances, especially the way he tried to score it

1-0 Rooney (header)

That's good play by Valencia (player), got to his byline and chipped it in, and Rooney headed it home.

He showed another good moment before as well, tried to pick out Cleverly on the penalty spot, as everyone ran to the six yard box and it was just cut out by the defender, nice vision

Valencia is stupidly fast.

Oh and sell Owen he's crap :p

Now that was a bad Owen miss. But seriously, Valencia's pace is unfair, his acceleration is insane

Owen is having one of those days... no big deal. Thats what pre season is for, get all the misses out the way!

Valencia are in a bit of a trouble. A player injured but no one to bring on seeing as they used all their subs except their 2nd choice keeper.

I know he's missed four chances, but I'm still greatly encouraged that Owen's getting shots off. Better that he misses and sharpens his skills in pre-season than during the season, don't you think?
