Manchester United vs. Watford

Full line ups?

You can expect the Watford sub keeper to have a blinder today.

Not loving the team we've picked

GK: Kuszczak

RB: Neville
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Heinze

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Carrick
CM: O'Shea
LM: Richardson

CF: Rooney
CF: Solskjaer

Subs: Van Der Sar, Brown, Fletcher, Park, Larsson

No Saha, Scholes or Giggs at all tonight :(

If we win now, brilliant with Evra, Scholes, Giggs, VDS and Saha(injured) rested, if we drop points this sucks.

Why Richardson ahead of Fletcher? Fletcher needs games and is more important to our team.

Not the strongest but still very strong.

I see no problem tonight.

That lineups should do the job..

I'd take Fletcher over O'Shea though.

Brown in for Neville too.

I think it's a risk not having either Giggs or Scholes on the bench, but we'll win. Rooney, Ronaldo, Carrick and a good defence. That should be more than enough really.

If you drop points just because you're not sending your strongest 11 out against the bottom club, then it will be difficult to become champions.

Why ever use O'Shea and Richardson?

The team looks good, except for the big feck off black hole where those two are

It's like SAF feels the need to use them just because they exist. Fletcher would surely be a better option alongside Carrick

I would have had Fletch ahead of O'Shea, centre looks a bit soft.

Think Fergie sees O'Shea as adding a bit more 'muscle', for some reason.

He's clearly resting a few of the older players so they can be fresh for WHL. Not a problem in itself, just that it illuminates the apalling state of our squad outside the first 13-14.

To rest a player is not a problem for me, but to rest 3 or 4 players at once I cannot understand.

I hope Rich and John grab their chance and play well!!

Totally understandable - save Larson for the bigger match on Saturday (he is 35 ya know), Heinze needs and deserves a game, resting Scholes - fine but would prefer Fletch, my only real gripe is with Richardson playing - should be Park. Pretty solid defensively, for all Parks merits hes not as good defensively as Richardson (god i cant believe im praising him!)

Bench is reasonable - hope we dont need to bring them on to chase a game!!

Early goal and we should be fine

0-0 at half time, or any other scenario which involves us having to step up and pressure them, and there's major trouble

But why rest them all in one game? Why not over 3 games? Would be much saver!

MUTV has Silvestre instead of Fletcher on the bench.

Thats proberly the case then i didn't catch them naming all the subs and took a punt that Fletcher would be there - my mistake :wenger:

I thought he might change it round, and am gathering Saha's broken himself again.

The players not in the team are understandable. It's the ones that are there instead which baffles me.

I mean Richardson ffs. Park was crap on Saturday, but still miles better than Richardson has ever played. Fletcher's far more useful than O'Shea

Heinze is a top class player and worthy of a starting berth anyway, if Saha aint gonna be fit for Saturday then playing Larson from the start is risky aside from the fact that hes 35!!

You gotta bear in mind CL kicks off again in 2 weeks.

I think we'll win 3-0, Richardson and two from Roon

when that one game is against team which is right at the bottom.. it makes sense.. also. the gaffer has his strongest defence and oshea in middle...

this should ensure that we dont have to chase the game..
