GUNG HO!

Preview: Manchester Utd v WBA

RUUD van Nistelrooy returns to the Manchester United line-up against West Brom tomorrow after recovering from the ankle injury that has kept him out of the Red Devils' last two games.

The prolific Dutchman has endured a difficult campaign and has not scored in the Premiership since United beat the Baggies earlier this season.

Fellow striker Louis Saha is likely to be on the bench following his recent calf strain. Gabriel Heinze (ankle) is definitely out, while Gary Neville serves the final game of his three match suspension.

West Brom have serious fitness concerns over Ronnie Wallwork, while Richard Chaplow is definitely out though injury and Reds starlet Kieran Richardson is unavailable. Paul Robinson and Kevin Campbell have both been cleared fit for the match, however.
Provisional squad: Howard, Carroll, P Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Silvestre, O'Shea, Fletcher, Fortune, Ronaldo, Kleberson, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Miller, van Nistelrooy, Smith, Rooney, Saha, Bellion.

As of this evening there was tickets available from the ticket office (due to a good number of returns) I was able to get a couple of east stand 2nd tier tickets, maybe not the best seats in the world but I coulsn't be happier about it! :) (first time at OT) the guy at the counter said there'd maybe be some available too tomorrow morning as well. Happy days.

Would hate to see Robbo relegated .But we need to get that ruthless streak back again. So a comfortable win.

Where is Ruud?

He and Keano aren't in the squad at all. MUTV said they're going to try to find out the official word on him.

not the team i wanted to see. glad to see klebby getting a start though - other than that it's disappointing

It's a team with one eye on the midweek game against Chelsea. Other than that, also for the likes of Kleberson, Phil, Fortune & Smith to challenge for a spot on the FA Cup Final team.

as i already sad, fergie will tinker again!
anyway, we should beat them, but i am really surprised that there's no ruud, scholes or rooney. and again, only 1 striker

feck the midweek. we have more chance of getting 3 points today than on tuesday if we are honest. is SAF trying to do robbo a favour or dare I suggest such a conspiracy? If you ask me, SAF already knows the team he is going to start with in the cup final bar any injuries.

For all you lot complainging about us playing 1 striker against a botom three side, did youse never think we might be doing it to stay in routine for the Final?

Spazzers.

And it won't be the prospect of an interesting Euro away trip to somewhere such as Baku or Bydgoszcz in August - the booby prize for finishing third in the league - which will inspire a secret yearning for a West Brom win.

What a shit journalism, we don't have a 1 div club in Bygdoszcz. Were United to play in Poland they would play Wisła Kraków.

Eh?
How is putting out a shite team , staying on route for the final?
If anything we should have started with the same team that played last week, they worked well together and would have kept a good run going.
Losing a couple of games before the final is the last thing we need.
Also it isnt as if we are playing in mid week, pro players should be able to play atleast one game a week.
SAF is stubborn and everyone knows it, we have lost on numerous times when he has tinkered but he is persiting with it.
I see no reason why that atleast one of Rooney or Scholes couldnt start, infact both should have started

Shouldn't he be playing a settled side then

and had he started then muppets like yourself would have been in here slagging Fergie off for not resting them.
Complain, complain, complain.

nice ball in from giggs...begging to be scored
