Manchester United Vs West Bromwich Albion 7/5/05

Sure looked like Smith was fouled in the box on the cross...but stayed the course and got off a header on another cross seconds later, albeit weak and straight at the keeper.

HT Comfortable first half and justified leaving Ruud out of the side.

ronaldo's crossing has been very good today, he and giggs are tearing them apart

WBA must be the poorest team to have played at OT or a long time. They fight againsty relegation, yet they are so lifeless.
This half highlights our main problem this season, which is the inability to convert our chances. We usually don't get that many, but I reckon we had 5-6 clearcut chances and we missed all of them.
Not that thrilled about the goal. I know it should count as far as the rules are concerned, but I just don't like this sort of goals. I'd hate to see this sort of goal sending a team down.

 @ Rio, funniest thing ive seen in ages.

We have been great today, the movement and passing has been excellent, though WBA havnt put up much of an opposition. Ronaldo has been excellent.

Fortune dinked in another good ball, Rio span away from his ban (he was the furthest foward player actually!), looked to drop perfetly for the volley, only for him to thrash at it, completely miss and end up doing atleast two twirls, almost tripping up as the ball trickled out un-touched.

At last, a poster that can reply.

Thanks.

It's one of those goals that are only acceptable if your team scores it, isn't it?
