Manchester United vs. West Bromwich Albion

Vidic is playing confidently today, it's good to see.

It seems so obvious that Kagawa-Cleverley-Carrick is the right way to go with the midfield but how in the name of god do we fit RVP and Rooney into the team then too without rendering them less effective?

Ya it would be ideal if he could get on score sheet today, hes been playing well but as a striker that wont matter to him unless hes scored

Indeed, especially as Rooney, Hernandez and van Persie have plenty of goals while he only has 1 or 2 this season so far.

Is Valencia even playing? Christ, how the mighty have fallen.

RVP up top, Rooney on the left cutting in and interchanging positions with Kagawa, with the in form winger on the right.

That surely has to be a corner or a foul? Either he took the ball of Evra's feet = corner, or he didn't touch it = foul.

Kagawa is quick on the/with ball, need all the others on the same wave length too.

Anyone who still argues whether Scholes has a negative effect on our play need only compare our opening half hour of this game to the Newcastle game.

Do away with wingers?

Indeed, the way they're playing now (especially Valencia) a 4-4-2 with no wingers and 4 central midfielders (Kagawa, Cleverley, Carrick, Anderson) or 4-3-3 with three forwards wouldn't be unreasonable.

McManaman - "Baines is 5, 6, 7 years younger than Patrice Evra"

Reality - Baines is 28, Evra is 31.

You're such a poor fan. You should learn from Maciek.
