We've generally looked good and should have put away one of the chances that fell to Hernandez/Ando/Rooney. We've looked dangerous when Kagawa and Nani have gotten the ball to feet with time to turn/cross, we just need to take care of the final ball/finishing. Defensively we need to keep our concentration because West Brom have had a couple of decent chances themselves, from our brainfarts.

They should have scored twice, I wouldn't say we're in control at all, we've knocked it about quite well in short bursts, but if I was the West Brom manager I'd think we're there for the taking.
Rooney should be taking them, Nani's near-post floaters are eroding my soul, he obviously copied that from Giggs.

I would say its not our defence but a lack of protection from midfield that's the real problem

I always thought that when Hernandez build-up play is brilliant, his sharpness in the box lacks a bit, it's usually either/or.
I don't think we've been as poor as a few drama queens are moaning out though. Some good play from us missing the final ball. Anderson, Kagawa and Nani have all had good games imo, and Evans at the back.

Very true. Risk = Reward. That's what the real Man Utd are all about. I'll choose players who attempt that every time.
We have been like this for the last 13 months at home against what people consider the lesser teams. We really give any of them a good trashing anymore.
Also worth noting that while Jones has been ok, he's once again underlining why he's not a FB. Time and time again both Kagawa and Nani have done good work, getting the ball early in space and cutting inside, but have had to wait for ages before their fullbacks turn up to make the run on the outside. Rafael and Evra would be producing so much more.
Some of Nani's crosses getting right behind the defenders have been excellent as well. I thought Hernandez would be throwing himself at them.

Well Anderson offers nothing in that regard so Carrick is on his own in there but I think we look susceptible on both flanks as well.
