I think it'll be a fairly comfortable 2-0. Welbeck and Hernandez to score.

DDG
Rafael, Jones, Evans, Evra
Valencia, Fellaini, Cleverley, Janujaz
Kagawa, Welbeck

Hope we line up like that if Rooney is not available. Otherwise Rooney for Kagawa.

Evra will likely start but he is playing a lot of football for his age recently. I'd be surprised if he didn't start but according to wiki it's 22 in all competitions, excluding internationals. For someone poised to turn 33 at end of the season that's a bit much before we've even hit the christmas fixtures.

I think it's the ideal game to give him a break before the busy Christmas and festive fixtures. Buttner can come in and do a job against West Ham. Moyes has clearly given up on Fabio

I'd have thought the league cup match would be the ideal time to start. To be honest, given a few of his performances this season, probably a while before that.

+ Almost all the United games and also the France qualifiers have been high-pressure games which might wear him down come April, May.. Not getting Contraeo might had been a bigger feck-up that we thought..

The thing Ive never understood about West Ham fans is that a lot of them seem to think that they have some sort of rivalry with us, whereas I personally couldn't give a feck about them.

Same goes for many clubs to be fair.

Hope Rooney is fit for this. We need maximum points over this period.

*Kagawa if Rooney isn't fit.

feck sake I hope he's wrong. I really hope we've not pushed Rafa too far too soon. Was surprising to see him start midweek.

Also, I doubt that's reliable given it's only 17 players.

Also, have we always made the players stay in a hotel the night before a home game or is that something Moyes has brought with him?

Argh the bullishness will unbearable after you beat West Ham this weekend, Im going for a comfortable 3-0 win, as they are so limited and predictable.

Just remember when Arsenal were playing the lightweights and winning you were constantly saying how they weren't playing anyone of note, now its Uniteds turn to be in that position whilst Arsenal face us and we face Liverpool too, so dont get too carried away ;)

I'd agree with that to an extent. We shouldn't get carried away with beating shit, but given the season we've had so far, it's hard to keep a lid on it. On the other hand, as Arsenal play more difficult teams and us, the lower teams, the table should be more realistic. As I've said before, it feels like the 2002 season again.

Every time I start to think we're gaining a bit of momentum we screw it up by putting in an insipid performance and underperforming. Hopefully that's come to an end. Please win this by a couple of goals and keep things on track.

The nice thing about being this far down the table is that I'll take a lot of joy out of every place we move up.

Do not want to see Jones or Smalling at right-back.

De Gea
Valencia - Smalling - Evans - Evra
Cleverley - Jones
Januzaj - Kagawa - Welbeck
Hernandez

It's kinda strange that despite all the negativity there is towards Giggs - we have done a lot better in the game where he has been involved. We have lost just 2 matches where Giggs have been involved (Everton and Liverpool) - and we shouldn't have lost any of them in terms of chances.

really really hope hernandez plays and gets a couple today. would be great to see him back on form.

Since he has just listed 17 players, I'm just gonna assume he has forgotten Rafael.

Rooney's there.
