We'll lose now for the thread not being done properly upon submission of the submit button :(

De Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Valencia Carrick Park Nani
Rooney Welbeck

Can't see Giggs starting. Just read that Ferdinand will miss the game, so I'm guessing that Rafael will come back into the side. Maybe Valencia at RB? I dunno.

As for subs (whilst I'm in the predicting mood)

Lindegaard, Fryers, Gibson, Giggs, Hernandez, Berbatov.

Only six subs, as I'm drawing a blank on who the last one could be. Would be nice if it was one of Morrison or Pogba, but I'm not exactly holding out hope for that. Although, looking at that it seems lacking in defence mostly, so perhaps there's a young CB that could go there?

They have draws against Chelsea and Liverpool.
Might not be a walkover

feck everyone else LeRoy the Red, you are the new VidaRed. Oh and feck you vidaRed for that Barca thread, you are still not forgiven.
See thread starter makes all the difference and not the players.
As you can see Leroy the Red, support for thread starters is ephemeral so watch your back! What have you done for me lately?

if not for my thread we wouldn't have scored in the final

Hope we're not tempted to put Rooney back into midfield not when he's found his goal touch again

If Jones, Young and Rio are out, then let's hope we just go with the same team that started tonight, with Rafael coming in at right back.

Last 5 Premier League Results

Manchester United (13 points from 15)

Manchester United 1-1 Newcastle United
Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester United
Manchester United 4-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Queens Park Rangers 0-2 Manchester United
Fulham 0-5 Manchester United

Wigan Athletic (8 points from 15)

Sunderland 1-2 Wigan Athletic
Wigan Athletic 0-4 Arsenal
West Bromwich Albion 1-2 Wigan Athletic
Wigan Athletic 1-1 Chelsea
Wigan Athletic 0-0 Liverpool

Won't be an easy game by any stretch, despite our history against them saying otherwise. Wigan have done very well over their last few games. Gary Caldwell is apparently suspended for Wigan.

I think we'll be playing a similar side to that which played tonight.

3-7-0 formation

Lindegaard

Smalling
Evans
Evra

Welbeck
Carrick
Park
Cleverley
Nani
Rooney
Berbatov

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Rafael
CB: Smalling
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Park
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Fryers, Giggs, Gibson, Pogba, Berbatov, Hernandez

Gonna just have to bypass the midfield area in this one and rip them up on the wings with Rafa, Nani and Valencia

I'm never one for sounding too confident, and I always prefer to be modest and opt for a small margin win, but after tonight's convincing performance and Wigan not looking all that good, I'm very confident. I'll go for a 4-0 for us.

:nervous: A win and two draws isn't bad for them...we should still destroy them mind. As long as our midfielder(Carrick) doesn't get hurt between now and then.

I would like to see Rooney and Hernandez for this game and then Berbatov and Welbeck for the Blackburn game.

Code:
                  de Gea

Rafael Smalling Evans Evra

Valencia Carrick Park Nani

           Rooney Welbeck

SUBS:
Lindegaard, Fryers, Giggs, Gibson, Pogba, Berbatov, Hernandez

4-0
Rooney (2), Nani, Smalling

Does anyone think Rooney might be tossed into the midfield for this match?

Good form or not, I expect to give them a bit of a spanking.
