Buttner's had a decent half, Welbeck has been good but nothing else. Hernandez's penalty was poor, Carrick has been very disappointing so far. Get Valencia and Kagawa/Cleverley on.

I think it would be better if we didn't slow the play down in every attack. We're too slow in our buildups. That was the point, I'm sorry you missed it.

Every week we seem to complain about our slow tempo and passing. It seems like our style of play is ad old as giggs and scholes.
Lots of hufffing and puffing , not enough quality in the last third.
Buttner has that dutch way of wanting to play nice football in every situation instead of kind of football seen in the west ham match earlier where they'd just lump the ball up the field any chance they get. Its both a good and bad thing

Welbeck is lively yet still looks clumsy and can't finish anything. Nani isn't trying to go past his man enough, Giggs is just putting in a normal Giggs shift nowadays. Scholes and Carrick offer nothing going forward. What a struggle.

It would be nice to see someone looking like they're playing as hard as possible.
Think we need to either get a bigger threat at left wing or a bigger threat through the middle. We're having to attack and push up too high centrally which is leaving a lot of room for them to counter in to as Scholes is getting bypassed. We're wasting scholes as well as he can't use his long passes enough as only Nani is holding width of the ball.
Aside from that buttner looks like a good player, think he could do even more if he had a partner on the left hand side.

We are so static its worrying, everything is slow building up so Wigan just get their defence in shape and we can't break it down, dare I say zombie passing.

I like that we don't look as lethargic as we did in the first two games but that's about it.
Positives so far are only Buttner, Welbeck and Giggs.

We were shite. Agree with Buttner love a full back who runs like a bastard up and down the line all day.
Well that was...... shit. Passing seemed a bit flat no really quickness and urgency about it. Hernandez hasn't got involved at all, not sure if that his fault or that he's just not getting service, and our defending is still a bit worrying. Welbeck's been a positive (apart from the dive), he's got involved at every chance and seems to be playing at a higher tempo than pretty much anyone else in our team. Nani has looked good in my opinion too, just very rarely have we utilised him today
