Manchester United vs Wolverhampton FC

I did find it strange that Fergie preferred Jones to Fletcher the other night

Have to say he's reminded me of a young box to box Roy Keane today

Outstanding - would be interesting to see if he can perform like this against a good side

We have bossed midfield today completely

Against Wolves.

What's the point of bringing Macheda on if Rooney's going to shoot every time, very irresponsible by Rooney.

I have a feeling that Jones will be used as our answer to the midfield.

I feckin hate those Empty seats before the end of a match

The commentator just mentioned Sneijder! It's a sign!!

Had a point to prove there and we came out guns blazing, it was good to see. Wolves were rather dire, especially early on, but our players definitely stepped up for that one. Roll on QPR.

Great stuff. :)

Can I just point to the fact this victory was achieved with me making the matchday thread, so i think I'll do the QPR one too.

I think Rooney doesn't like Macheda.

:boring:

Along with Nani and he had a pop at Jones so he mustn't like him either, Rooney to be honest looked a bit half arced after the fourth goal, only interested in his hat-trick. Still hopefully he's back to his best now.

He might actually end up better in midfield than in defense. He's not disciplined enough at centre back and I'm not sure he can fix that.

We got the 3 points. Time for Chelsea to do their job tomorrow.
