I hope we rest Rooney and Fletcher. Carrick to return to form and score a brace:cool:

I'd go for:

Kuszczak

Neville
Ferdinand
Evans
Fabio

Nani
Carrick
Gibson
Valencia

Owen
Welbeck

SUBS: Amos, Rafael, Brown, Scholes, Tosic, Park, Berbatov.

Tomas Kuszczak - now is your chance... Wolves ain't no walk-over but Scholes, Carrick are more than capable to run riot on wed.

Team should be...

GK: PIG

RB: Neville
CB: Brown
CB: Evans
LB: De Leat

RM: Welbeck
CM: Gibson
CM: Carrick
LM: Nani

CF: Macheda
CF: Owen

Should be enough for an easy 3-0 win, Owen x2 and Nani the goal scorers. Hopefully Macheda will get a goal as well

wolves won today .. beat fulham ..certainly wont be a walkover if we play the reserves .

really hope we win this .. would love to see more of the fringe players

Foster
Neville Brown Evans Fábio
Valencia Gibson Carrick Nani
Owen Macheda
Subs: Kuszczak; De Laet, O'Shea; Scholes, Tosic; Welbeck, Berbatov

---------------PIG---------------
Neville----Brown----Evans---Fabio
Valencia--Carrick--Gibson-----Nani
---------Macheda--Welbeck------

Subs: Amos, De Laet, Scholes, Anderson, Tosic, Park, Owen.

Starting XI:-------------- PIG -----------------------
Neville -------- Brown ----------- J.Evans ------- Fabio
Welbeck ------ Carrick ----------- Gibson ------- Nani
--------------- Owen ----------- Macheda -----------

Bench: Amos, Gray, De Laet, C.Evans, Scholes, Tosic, King

Kusz

Neville
Evans
Brown
Fabio

Nani
Carrick
Gibson
Valencia

Owen
Berbatov

Subs: Foster, O'Shea, Vidic, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Rooney.

2-0 would do.

Completely agree with this team, we still need experiance as Wolves will be planning have 11 men behind the ball for at least 90mins. We need players who know how to handle that.

I would also have Welbeck and Marceda on the bench as well as Tosic.

Pig

Fabio
Brown
Evans
De laet

Tosic
Gibson
Carrick
Wellbeck

Owen
Kiko

We could do with closing the gap on Chelsea next weekend. The table is starting to take shape and I don't want Chelsea to develop a 'league leader' mentality. I can't see them dropping points at Wigan, though.

Pig

Fabio
Brown
Evans
De laet

Tosic
Gibson
Carrick
Wellbeck

Owen
Kiko

That would be the side I'd pick as well but with possibly Gary Nev for De Laet. I don't see the point in playing the likes of Valencia or Nani, even though both might well get a game when the likes of Welbeck, Tosic and Macheda are much in need of some minutes. The carling cup is their main opportunity for some experience.

-----------------Pig--------------------

Rafael/Neville------Evans-------Brown-----Fabio

Nani--------Carrick------Gibson-----Tosic

----------Owen---------Macheda-------

heard Rafael may be back so undecided on the right back slot as both him and neville could do with the game time.

I'd go for:

Kuszczak

Neville
Ferdinand
Evans
Fabio

Nani
Carrick
Gibson
Valencia

Owen
Welbeck

SUBS: Amos, Rafael, Brown, Scholes, Tosic, Park, Berbatov.

I'd go with this.

Maybe Brown for Rio, because Brown's had feck all minutes this season, and Rio seems to be an injury waiting to happen at any time, so maybe we should prioritise him for league games. Would be a sickener if he ended up getting injured in a nothing Carling Cup game.

I'd love to see this team:

---------Kuszczak-----------
Neville-Brown-Evans-Fabio
--------Carrick-Gibson------
Nani-------------------Welbeck
---------Owen-Macheda------

Wouldn't mind seeing Berbatov score a few, think he needs any he can get right now.

Kusz

Neville
Evans
Brown
Fabio

Nani
Carrick
Gibson
Valencia

Owen
Berbatov

Subs: Foster, O'Shea, Vidic, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Rooney.

2-0 would do.

I'd use Welbeck instead of Valencia, Macheda instead of Berbatov, put in Tosic on the bench instead of Giggs, de Laet also on the bench instead of Vidic, Berbatov on the bench instead of Rooney.

----------------------Kuzczak----------------------

--Neville-------Brown--------Evans----------Fabio--

--Valencia-----Carrick---Evil Carrick------Tosic---

----------------Macheda------Welbeck---------------

Subs: Amos, Rio, DeLaet, Eikrem, Sheasy, Owen, Rooney
Prediction: 2-0 win. Welbeck, Macheda

King has been given a number ..
our new no.41... kiko #2
United's young Norwegian striker Josh King given the no.41 squad number. Guess that means he may play some part against Wolves on Wednesday
ben hibbs

welbeck , macheda , king. . no owen then .. surely not

dont think he'll be involved unless welbeck plays wide and king is on the bench.. still good to see another youngster get a squad number .. looks really impressive for the reserves ..

strange to see michael carrick now slumming it with the kids - i'm not suprised tho - he needs some games and to get that confidence back

PIG

De Laet - Brown - Evans - Fabio

Nani - Gibson - Carrick - Welbeck

Owen - Macheda

I've forgotten about da Silva twins. What's with them?

You wrote Fabio, is Rafael injuried? How long?

I don't think we'll see him playing at Stoke even after amazing performance against Wolves.

He's our third choice keeper and only other players' injuries makes him second.

Foster has had his chance and hasn't done anything PIG can't..

Wolves are dangerous, playing a reserve team after our defensive performance Sunday...

Got a feeling we'll crash out at the first hurdle, if we end up playing too many kids

Got a feeling we'll crash out at the first hurdle, if we end up playing too many kids

I don't think we will play to many, quite a few players on the fringes of first team could still use a game, Gibson hasn't played yet so I suspect we will see him, the likes of Brown maybe Neville, Owen & Nani I think may be in the line up.

I'll go 3-1 to United
