Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ravel Morrison could have perhaps been accused of being greedy a couple of years ago when he burst onto the U18s Academy scene at the age of 15. But now, in my humble opinion of course, he really has done a lot to become more of a team player and while he initially looked to be a ball-dribbling attacking winger, he has shown real maturity in his game and been trusted with a more central role for the Reserves. To me at least, he seems to be on the right track again after a spell out of the picture where there were concerns about him.

I've got very high expectations for him, and hope he at least makes an impression on tonight's game if given the chance. Hugely talented young player with a lot to learn but also not afraid to showcase his talents, which is a great thing. Young players need that confidence in their own abilities, especially at our club because the stage does not get any bigger.

I haven't seen him for a while so I really look forward to see him.

Rio : Bebe, eikram, morrison, brady + obertan all got #silks! Personally really hoping 2 see morrison drop some #silks on the O.T. turf tonight!

Well we've known for a week or so that Hargreaves wasn't going to be fit for this game, but looking at the team, this bench is probably the best bench we could have fielded. Just enough experience to throw on in Nev, Chicho and Rafael, and the three rookies. It's the type of bench that we should always employ in the Carling Cup.

Right, those grizzled veteran stalwarts Chicharito and Rafael...:wenger:

Imagine is Bebe, Obertan, Hernandez and Morrison were all on the pitch at the same time.

The caf would implode.

Hayley McQueen : Echoing @rioferdy5 but i don't expect Ravel Morrison to come on but have followed his progress for 4 years. What a player!!

Man Utd: Amos, Brown, Smalling, Evans, Fabio Da Silva, Obertan, Carrick, Gibson, Park, Macheda, Bebe. Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Hernandez, Rafael Da Silva, Brady, Eikrem, Morrison.

Wolverhampton: Hennessey, Foley, Mouyokolo, Berra, Elokobi, Hunt, Mancienne, David Jones, Jarvis, Ebanks-Blake, Fletcher. Subs: Hahnemann, Van Damme, Edwards, Stearman, Bent, Milijas, Doyle.

Lots of hopes for this match.

I hope that Obertan and Bebe (and Park for that matter) get forward and give Macheda plenty of help. Every match Kiko has started this season he's either been out on the left or has gotten isolated all by himself upfront with everyone else dropping too deep.

Hopefully Obertan and Bebe step up and really perform. There's a gaping hole on a wing for us at the moment, so it's up to these two to step up and stake a claim.

Hopefully Carrick can dominate this match and keep his upswing in form going.

Hopefully we can get a couple of goals up and bring the three kids on. Strangely, Eikrem was the one I was most excited about seeing on the bench, but Ra'vel is the one I'm most excited about seeing get on the field.

Strange that we've got Rafael and Neville on the bench, two rightbacks (although I guess Rafa can play further forward and the Neviller can play in the centre).

Rafa can also do left back.
